A TNA Video Game Update, Pierzynski Praises Punk

— AJ Pierzynski recently spoke about CM Punk being his favorite wrestler, which you can check out here.

— There is new information on TNA’s talks with Activision for a new video game. The discussion is at a “semi-advanced stage” for Activision to acquire the license. If a deal is agreed upon, the new game will likely be ready in time for the Playstation 4.

Most likely it’ll be on the Wii U too knowing Activision’s relationship with them so I can’t wait to see how it turns out

    Who cares about AJ Pierzynski?

Told you all that it would be for next gen consoles and i got dislikes for that….Hopefully itll be on the current gen consoles as well. Would be good if they could get it out for this year, as theres no word on the next WWE game, TNA could win the wrestling game of the year

Actually WWE is scheduled to release WWE 2k14 this year in development with Yukes

    • NotCookz says:

2K have already confirmed they're working on the next WWE game, titled 'WWE 14', but they've only stated it's being developed for 'consoles', without going in to details as to which ones.

It'd be great for both TNA and Activision to capitalise on the current gap in the PC wrestling games market.

I like your idea, but I don't see how a wrestling game would work with a Mouse & Keyboard well unless you connect with an Xbox or Ps3 controller then might have a chance, but PC/Mac games focuses on RPG's, MMO's,Platformer, ect. But hey it might work.

        • DirkB says:

PCs are for all games, it's just that some companies don't put out a pc version. Wrestling games are one of the few genres we don't get at all, the last being RAW back in '02.

I bought a 360 pad just for my pc, I can use my PS3 pad on it just fine too, before that I was using a PS2 pad with an adapter. It's not needed but can make fighting, sports and driving games easier to control.

        • NotCookz says:

Most PC gamers, like myself, just connect our Xbox 360 or PS3 controllers to the PC whenever we play certain games such as FIFA 13, or GTA IV.

Though I know THQ didn't publish WWE games for PC due to licensing and development costs incurred by the WWE (THQ had to pay more based on how many platforms they published the game on), hopefully Activision can get a better deal with the less money-hungry TNA.

Imagine the Creation Community……Dear God…..I wanna it for PC now lol

          • NotCookz says:

The Creation Community for WWE 12 was pretty damn impressive (when the servers were actually up that is), imagine what the PC community could do.

So many hack textures, mods, retexture Omg I'm about to die hopefully they allow mods

  4. jbcissom says:

If it's to be released with the PS4, that's going to happen sometime around Christmas 2014.

  5. Mr. Excitement says:

It'll probably be released for the PS3 as well. When the PS2 came out, many games were still being made for the PS1 for a while longer. Same with the PS2 when the PS3 came out.

  6. powerbomb says:

i hope the game will not be all about hogan and the asses and apes or even worst like the first game where they made me play with suicide and there were no story lines i miss games like wwf no mercy n64

  7. Tiffanydude says:

Who cares what a ****ing Baseball Player says? Not really news worthy…..

  8. soyfenomenal says:

CM Punk could not be more overrated. He's good, but he's not that good. Too bad WWE killed his steam in 2011. Lol

  9. annil8or4321 says:

it sounds good but i do not like playstation anymore

  10. Real Deal Heel says:

Does A.J. still play baseball? That dude is a joke. His own teammates hate him.
