TNA could have used her better. I wasn't enjoying her recent role as Mr. Pectacular's woman.

    • DigestivBiscuit says:

TNA DID use her better maybe it's time to see some new faces and I'm enjoying the route that TNA is taking the KO division. I appreciate Tara's time in TNA and I really enjoy watching her I will be happy to see her again in TNA.

      • jflegler says:

What route are you enjoying? They are recessing the KO division.

I have said it before, get rid of the KO division until, and if, a second weekly program commences. Use some of the women deemed as "keepers" in storylines with the men for the time being.

        • whatever says:

Since it seems the KO division is dwindling down maybe they should go old school and use the women as managers and valets again. Those were some of the good things about wrestling back in the day.

        • jbcissom says:

It's a love/hate thing for me when people open their mouths to reveal how not smart they are.

If you look at the viewership over the past 5 years, the top viewed superstar has been Sting on average. And guess what group is second… the Knockouts. I loved Tara in TNA… she got to show what she could do, unlike in the WWE. They seem to be keeping ODB (which I'm fine with), there has been a solid build with Gail and Taryn as well as Mickie and Velvet. The only one left out is Tessmacher.

          • jflegler says:

It is not about intelligence; this is about opinions of the readers. If these threads were regarding intelligence, the point system would be structured much differently.

Why don't you please send me a link of said viewership over the past 5 years? Honestly, I am skeptical about all information provided from these threads – empirical data please, thank you.

          • jbcissom says:

Go find it yourself. Real men seek wisdom. Fools rebuke it.

          • jflegler says:

One devoid of subtlety would provide facts without sourced evidence. I figured that you had the information on hand in order to make such a bold statement; I imagine that I was wrong.

No bother – I will take what you say at face value.

          • jbcissom says:

Well dipstick, your evidence is this very site. There are several dozen others… have fun digging in their archives.

          • jflegler says:

I am not sure why you are making these attempts to insult me, but I am sorry that you feel the need to be so negative with me.

Dipstick – as in something used to measure liquid? Interesting indeed.

          • jbcissom says:

Oh, I could go the flame/troll route here (both comical and derogatory)… so why not… at least a little bit.

Dipstick as to measure liquid… sure… because your brain matter has been turned to goop… childish… I know… really cheesy too…

No, I use dipstick because I'm not going to use the word dip"cr.ap" and I'm sure you can get the cross-reference.

          • jflegler says:

Thank you for the clarification – you ARE intelligent and comical! How does such quick wit get wasted on a wrestling thread?

          • Pippin says:

Don't worry, old chap. Jbcissom has a thing for calling other people names and suggesting they're stupid/thick only to prove themself to be the one who appears stupid.

They've called me stupid and the such a few times only to be put in their place and voted down. I don't typically take notice of votes on comments, but when somebody insults another person it's always nice to see them voted down for it.

In this case, like most others when they resort to petty insults for no reason, they're just deflecting because you proved what they're saying to almost certainly be complete tosh.

          • jbcissom says:

            Who…. are you?

          • jflegler says:

No worries at all, friend. Honestly, I have not taken a word that he has written personally; I imagine being insulted comes with the territory when the ego is staged for all to potentially dismantle.

          • jbcissom says:

I'll give you a heads up… because I really don't recognize your name (sorry, I just don't). I'm not like soy, some who trolls just to troll. Usually (about 98% of the time) when I troll, I'm doing it in humor.

But when someone tries to use that defacto… you make a statement without providing facts, or the source as you yourself stated. My source is this site, and guess what, this site copies a bunch of other sites. I'm not going to go digging through archives, so you can be lazy. Get off your @$$ (metaphorically speaking) and do the digging yourself.

          • jflegler says:

Thank you for the heads up. You probably do not recognize my name because I have only joined the message board recently and seldom posted.

I am game for a good ribbing; ergo my rebuttals and condescending jabs back at you. No hard feelings. Now please allow me to get off of my metaphoric gluteus maximus just to prove you wrong. 😉

      • Mr. Excitement says:

I never really cared for her in TNA but she could have been used better.

  2. MikeS23 says:

TNA officially has 4 active wrestling KO's. 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

  3. tsoutheast says:

TNA will be sold by the end of the year.

    • jflegler says:

I hate to sound just as pessimistic, but it could very well happen and I would not be the least bit surprised.

    • jbcissom says:

Really?! Are you that asenine? WWE does this every, single, freaking year. Panda Energy (which is ran by the Carter family) makes WWE look like spare change under the cushions for your couch.

      • Bigmike885 says:

I love people that say that…yes..Panda energy has TONS more money that wwe…but that money is for stuff that Daddy carter actually cares about. Yes..WWE does it every year, but they do it because theres no need to pay them if they are never ever going to use them. TNA always brings people they cut for one off..all the freakin time. If TNA is hemorgning money..Panda will cut them loose…because Daddy carter does not care.

        • jbcissom says:

If Daddy Carter didn't care, TNA would have went out of business a long time ago. And just a small reminder… who was the last person TNA brought in that was let go by WWE? Both have been putting on some pretty good matches as of late… Taryn Terrell and Gail Kim. We've already had this convo mike.

          • Bigmike885 says:

let me rephrase..because I completely get what youre saying. But VKM would do anything to make sure WWE stayed afloat…and that's been proven time and again. If TNA really starting losing money, like badly, would Daddy carter still continue to finance it? Its never really been a money pit, so it hasn't been a issue, but with going live, and all that jazz, its costing more money. You, or I, have no idea if he would stay the course if he started losing mad amounts of money on Dixies pet project…And lets be honest…Taryn and Gail..as good as their matches have been..haven't brought any new viewers whatseoever…

          • jbcissom says:

I honestly think TNA isn't in the red, and if they are, they're not that bad in the red… hence why all these cost cutting moves. This could be an attempt to show Panda that TNA is profitable and growing (international markets).

And about viewership growing… we've all talked about this… wrestling is a niche' now. Heck, even MMA seems to have plateaued off. Sports entertainment isn't what it used to be. But sports continue to grow.

          • Bigmike885 says:

What makes you think Tna is turning a profit? Do you know wcw, in its whole existence only turned a profit for 4 years? It's a hard hard nut to crackSent from my iPhone

          • jbcissom says:

I think when you look at the revenues and expenditures, and what sources are paying for what… I'm willing to wager that Spike is paying part of (if not all) Sting's salary, Kurt Angle, and HH.

I think the reason TNA isn't currently looking for another channel is because of their current deal with Spike, which was rumored to be an exclusive deal with Spike shouldering some of the expenses since TNA has been one of the top 5 rated shows for Spike for the last 5+ years.

And now there is this trimming of the fat (nice little dig at ole Brucey mainly), they're trying to make their numbers better for someone. Because if TNA was in a bad situation, they would have never went on the road, or they would have made these moves before they went on the road.

      • TwIsTeD_EnEmY says:

Im not agreeing with them, because frankly WWE likes the indirect competition TNA gives them and wouldn't want to put them out of business, but WCW was owned by Ted Turner, a man who has four times more net worth than Vince McMahon.

  4. Sa7827 says:

Once again TNA letting one of the best women wrestlers go ! Wake up Dixie Carter are you in a coma !TNA does not even have a KO division any more !What’s next get rid of all the wrestlers and keep HH and Brooke .Who is making these decisions ?

  5. MikeS23 says:

Pretty soon they're dissolve the division and make any remaining KO's valet's for wrestlers and tag teams. They'll go back to having 2 KO matches a year like they did 10 years ago with Traci Brooks and Trinity. It's so sad after how amazing this division used to be.

  6. Stunner says:

WHAT??? Bring back Tess I can’t believe I’m typing this however someone is better than nothing. Tealer Hendrix would have been the perfect KO to call up now WHAT?

  7. jp says:

This was planned on both their parts. Tara wasn’t gonna be used for awhile. She’ll be back

  8. nicholal79 says:

TNA worries me about their decision making! First you miss use Taeler Hendrix so bad that she asked for her release and now you drop Tara! Brooke Tessmacher is off filming a reality TV show, she is a model who wrestles on the side when she can't book modeling or TV gigs! Get rid of her if you're going to get rid of anybody! Brooke could care less about the wrestling business!

  9. andy3323 says:

Maybe this means a fresh face or two in A&8's. Since the MEM is back, I was thinking that A&8 looked overmatched. DOC was cool, but he was the muscle and didn't really do a ton of stuff in matches, to be honest. You have to think they planned this out some with him being fed up on-air with not being VP……I mean, that much is obvious and that has been played up a few weeks now.

  10. Laker says:

A KO Division should have more than 6 knockouts

  11. TheBringer92 says:

    hmm….mistake? get rid of Hogans

  12. TNA_Warrior_UK says:

Tara is one of the better female wrestlers, maybe not the hottest, but it is a wrestling show after all!

  13. 2blackbelts says:

I have know Tara – Lisa – Victoria for a long time. She is an accomplished performer and a very great person to hang out with. Personally, I will miss her in TNA. However, I bet I talk to her again in WWE. The best to her.
