Sting's name was mentioned quiet often in this article. I also wonder how will tna show a lot of his great matches in his prime if wwe owns a lot of those like in wcw for example? I doubt wwe will lend tna some of his footage since wwe wants him in there hof but you never know

    • Pippin0490 says:

I was wondering about the very same thing. Perhaps they will use his NWA footage, like they did for Dusty Rhodes when they did the whole election thing against Vince Russo?

      • IHNSAIN says:

well they can show his first matches i know that much Continental Wrestling Association thats where sting started owned by jerry jerrit not that this will be any of his gr8 matches lol cwa nwa tna matches will be wat they show if they even have anything from cwa

    • rumpl4skin says:

yeh they can show some of his matches in his prime in WCW bro cause its apart of the deal WWE made with TNA which allowed Flair to appear at the HOF as was christian appearing last year and this year year aswell

  2. DickTheBruiser says:

Couldn't they get somebody besides Luger? Seriously. LUGER? That guy had no respect for the business.

    • IW4EVA says:

Luger deserves respect ….. Can you spill out a few choices that u had in mind?

      • DickTheBruiser says:

What exactly does Luger deserve respect for?

Walking into the locker rooms as a rookie and telling veterans how they're going to work a their match that ***ht?
Being ashamed to tell people he was a pro wrestler?
Being a junkie and contributing to the drug use of Elizabeth and ruining what career opportunities he may have had left?

You folks hate Ric Flair for running up a bar tab and having domestic issues, yet you appreciate this guy?

The only reason Luger even got over is because Flair needed a new rival in the then struggling NWA. His ring work was horrible, at best.

        My picks?
        – Jeff Jarrett – The guy had a major hand in bringing Sting to TNA. Then again, he should be inducted himself. That in itself is almost a dead giveaway that Jarrett is involved with As&8s.
-AJ Styles – A TNA mainstay that had I don't know how many matches with Sting that involved "The Legendary Sting giving AJ his seal of approval and passing the torch."

Who else is there? Anyone else from the "early days" of Sting's carreer are either employed by the WWE, or no longer involved with the wrestling business.

Is TNA really ready for a Hall Of Fame? Is there actually enough history there to justify a Hall Of Fame and Ceremony? I'm not trying to knock TNA. I just happen to think they may be jumping the gun on this a little. Any other "Hall Of Fame" has a large amount of history behind it, not only a decade.

        Sorry I'm a bit biased.

I totaly agree with everything you said.

        • OKIE73 says:

I respectfully disagree. Regardless of whether you liked Luger or not, or feel he had no respect for the business. The fact remains that he and Sting go way back, they've been great friends for 25yrs or so, they've been in business together (co-owned gyms), were tag team partners, and held the World Tag Team Titles together. It makes perfect sense. This is Sting's HOF induction and how someone feels about Luger (the inductor) has little to nothing to do with Sting's (the inductee) big night.

        • IW4EVA says:

As wrestling fans we shouldnt be judging wrestlers based on their personal lives , Lugers performance and contribution to pro wrestling in ring over the period of last 30 years makes Luger deserve more respect than you would want to give him

  3. IW4EVA says:

Luger should jointly with Christian induct Stinger and not just be a guest IMO

  4. rockinrollinroo says:

luger wearing a manchester united hat?! well hopefully he won't wear that crap at the ceremony!!! lol

  5. OKIE73 says:

Luger makes much more sense than Christian
