Dixie Carter In London – A Big Announcement Coming

Dixie Carter is in London, and she’s there to set up a big announcement for later this week. Word going around right now is that she is working on doing a live episode of iMPACT! Wrestling from England soon. The company just recently made waves by taking their weekly show on the road, and doing something international would be huge for the company.

UPDATE: TNA President Dixie Carter and Jeremy Borash are in the UK doing promotional work for the 2014 European tour. Tickets for the tour goes on sale on Friday. The tour is the biggest week of their calendar year and runs from January 30 to February 2 with dates in Scotland and the UK. You can buy tickets here.

Would be the worst choice ever. How would they broadcast it live to their largest fan base, the US?

The same way things are broadcast live to the UK! If it was live from London you guys would get it earlier in the day, say about 3pm, whereas here when we watch a live PPV from the US it starts at 1am. Or…. don't have it go out live. Have a few hours delay on it or go out the next day. We wait 3-5 days for PPVs (unless you stream them!) so 24 hours avoiding spoilers is nothing.

Well Summer Slam 92 was in London, but that was years ago before the internet, spoilers, streams, and torrents, so I highly doubt they would hold a live show in the UK… ever, unless it was Xplosion, or any other show that doesn't air in the US anyway…

HolsG the way you're determining their biggest fan base makes no sense… would be like saying of the 500 homes with televisions in nauru, 300 were watching TNa, it would make them their biggest fan base… I'm pretty sure they go by viewers, and money made.
However at the same time they're not going to go overseas and promote a show, and not try to big up where theyre going….

On delay is what Dixie has always said.
Their biggest fan base is actually the UK as they go by population/viewers ration

As an American. I enjoy watching TNA in the UK the fans are awesome. Would love to see more TNA in the UK.

I would prefer a ppv to be honest, surely they can push genesis to the end of January for that.
If it's a live stream in the US though most of the US will still be working and/or with the kids so viewers will likely drop.
Be nice if the UK got a live stream at a reasonable time though
