Early Rating #’s For This Week’s TNA iMPACT!

Last night’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling drew 993,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. The drop isn’t a huge one from last week, with the show being down 8% and even respectively, compared to 1.08 million and a 0.3. It is the first time the show has been under a million viewers since March 20th when the show did 997,000 and the lowest-viewed show since the Thanksgiving episode drew 921,000 in November.

Part of the problem is certainly the NBA Finals, which drew 12.61 million viewers and a 6.0 demo rating. We’ll have the household rating later.

    no fooling

Even if the NBA Finals weren't on the rating wouldn't be much different. Cut the excuses.

The NBA finals are simply an excuse for the poor ratings. Flat out, their poor ratings is the fact that they've put to much focus on the singles division, and have become a WWE lite, rather than doing what the company used to do best.

I couldn't watch the end of impact. The end of the show last week was built around joe being back. This week he was pretty much a number in a cluster muck. He should have been given solo promo time with MVP or lashley and a match where he squashes a few guys to look strong. I turned off when joe and lashley finally squared off and tna went to commercial break lol Jesus Christ at least try and make me care about seeing those two fight.

James storm (yet again) and ken Anderson were the stars of the show, great origional segment, entertaining yet serious, legit and no non sensical chaos

Anderson is great on TV and he's also a very nice person. Very underrated, his first feud with Angle that ended at Lockdown (where Angle had the dogtags), was one of my favorite matches.

Menagerie need to be more obsessed with money for their business… Ladder / ultimate x matches could be fun with the guys on stilts and crazy steve using a trampoline or something
