I could only watch about 4 minutes of it, it sucks

  2. YankeeLife says:

Great way to kiss McMahon's ass Bischoff! Please go back to the WWE and take Hogan with you!

    • DJBIGCG says:

I saw the show, total divas on E, and i really liked the show. I also agree with yankee, bischoff is on his knees pulling vkms pants down and kissing his ass, and should go back to wwe…. O yea, and take hogan with you too… Both hogans

  3. jflegler says:

TNA should definitely capitalize on a realty TV.

    • Whatever says:

Unfortunately for tna no other network will pick up or want to air anything related to tna. They don’t bring in good enough ratings plus I cant see any other network other than spike tv that is willing to spend their money to pay for any wrestlers contracts. Its that simple

    • ariesstormjoe says:

tna have had a reality show and will be doing a 2nd series of it in the uk. or possibly in australia.

their british bootcamp show. only had 6 episodes but thats the type of reality tv wrestling should focus on. total divas will fail. hard.

      • Whatever says:

You are talking about out of the country reality shows. Im talking about the US since that is where the ratings count (sorry). The only new tv deal they could ever reach in the US is a new contract with spike tv.

  4. Cezar_TheScribe says:

How about some praise for the Knockouts and expanding the Knockout division with more women wrestlers?

    • OldManEaston says:

Slimes like Bischoff, Kevin Dunn and Vinny Ru could care less about wrestling in any format. They just want to be big tv producers and writers. Wrestling is just a vehicle they have used to further their careers. Russo and Dunn have absolutely expressed their hatred for wrestling. Bischoff is very much similar to these guys in that he would labeling anyone who is a fan of wrestling, as being stupid. What Vince McMahon didn't kill, guys like this have been doing their damndest to finish off. They are the ENEMIES to wrestling fans everywhere. The day they are all of of wrestling, and NEVER allowed by the fans to return, is the first day that the wrestling business might have a chance.

      • Mr. Excitement says:

Did you ever think wrestling itself has been declining for many years now?
When WWF bought WCW, that ended the Attitude Era. Since then they went through the Ruthless Aggression era and it was decent. Then they went PG.

Wrestling never recovered. TNA needs to become a MAJOR COMPETITOR to WWE. But of course they fail miserably with their stale product.

I watched last weeks RAW and noticed two things

        1) It's now rated TV-14
        2) They're back with the RUTHLESS AGGRESSION era.

At least they're working on improving their product. While TNA continues with poor storylines, poor character development and lots of focus on MMA fighters which doesn't help much with their own product.

        • Luis says:

I’m surprised that anybody even watched that crap during TNA’s Genesis of its company. I was a Hardcore WWE fan than I saw More Triple H Title Hogging so I started watching Explosion every week and felt more entertained than WWE I still watch TNA only and a little bit of the E

        • OldManEaston says:

I don't think wrestling really ever declined at all, I think it was MURDERED by the likes of people I mentioned. I am old enough to remember the early 1980's, when wrestling was booming. Vince McMahon likes to credit himself as having gotten past that nasty old wrestling background by creating his "sports entertainment" product, but all he really did was cabbage on to what was really hot at the time (his territory was not) and use his NY connections to emphasize the more colorful aspects of wrestling and monopolize the business.

Even still after all of these years, has enough sense to know that he cannot completely strip it of it's base, so for every Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior or John Cena and all of their B.S., we get a Randy Savage, a Bret Hart, a Daniel Bryan/CM Punk etc, to counterbalance it. He never went completely out of his mind like Vince Russo who legitimately thought he was not in the wrestling business and could train actors to wrestle and wind up with a superior product. Still even then, with his 'magic formula' Vince could never duplicate the sheer popularity that the territories enjoyed at their peak. While he advanced his ratings, successfully booked his super cards and transformed the business into WWF and everyone else being branded the minor leagues that could not financially compete for talent, the gates slowly dwindled. Vince couldn't fill the houses on a regular basis like the NWA territories.

Take Crockett for example. It was hotter than it had ever been at the height of the WWF sports entertainment. It wasn't just people tuning out 'Rasslin' in favor of this wonderful 'Sports Entertainment', like the line that all the wrestling murderers project. There was no natural death, no drop off there like in other territories (which was actually do to talent leaving for WWF and Crockett). The fact that WWF was not even profitable until the late 90's in many of the old NWA markets is a very telling clue. So while the illusion was that this new entity was hotter than 'wrestling' had ever been by the time we got to the Monday Night Wars, I don't believe this was true at all. Wrestling went from Tens of millions of paying fans on a weekly basis all across the country, who were closely connected to their wrestlers and their promotions, to a virtual traveling circus that came by once or twice a year, and oh yeah that ten million people watched for free on Monday Nights, but VASTLY FEWER would actually pay to see. What they had created was a bubble, an illusion and it was bound to start popping.

So we don't know if wrestling is dead or not. For the last 20 years, we haven't had any, except for a few brief moments like in the case or ECW being able to draw a loyal cult following or to lesser extent elements of TNA or on a smaller scale companies like ROH. If it is dead, it was murdered and don't look to the murderers to tell the truth or give it any credit any time soon. If Wrestling ever did make a rebound, they wouldn't have their security blankets that they all are ashamed of.

      • Cezar_TheScribe says:

Vince Russo says in his book that he is tired of writing "fake wrestling".

I know what you mean. People who hate wrestling need to go.

        • OldManEaston says:

They absolutely do. I always look at it like this. Wrestling is an software company ran by wanna be fashion designers, who at best, secretly hate hardcore gamers and would rather have fashion hipsters buying their ironic gaming shirts.

  5. tnadude says:

Hey guys – maybe he's just calling it like he sees it…

  6. Mr. Excitement says:

I watched the show and it was much more entertaining than watching the Divas matches.
The ratings on E was around the same as Impact. The repeat after RAW scored much higher than Impact.

  7. whatsup121 says:

    OVW has 10 Female Wrestlers
    TNA has 6 Female Wrestlers
    Dixie do the math

  8. piro4351 says:

TNA has zero idea on how to build someone up..look at AJ Styles, they had the chance to give him a great push and make him intresting but they failed miserably..Styles shoulda remained mysterious and inconclusive in his actions, hard to read..instead its al lwaterd down..

    • OldManEaston says:

I was afraid they were going to do it too. This is their history with guys who don't come from WWE or WCW with established names. They don't know how to take a guy, put him on a path and keep building from week to week until it reaches a crescendo. All they know how to do is take a guy and carry out a nostalgia run for him.

AJ's newfound storyline can be defined as follows:

      1. AJ is tired of doing the right thing and getting jack squat in return
      2. Everybody wonders what AJ is gonna do
      3. AJ tells everyone to go to kiss his ass, he's his own man
      4. Aces and Eights try to lure AJ to their side
      5. AJ swerves them, confirming he's on his own and a force to be reckoned with.
      6. (Storyline Break) Kurt Angle publicly reminds Dixie Carter how wonderful he is, and hints at returning
to WWE if he doesn't get his way.
      7. Angle goes over AJ because of his HOF sh*t.
      8. Stink the Clown swoops in with his message received nonsense.
      9. MeM reformed with Kurt Angle as his top pick.
      10. AJ settles comfortably into the background BFG series as just another guy wrestling matches
and doing nothing out of the ordinary to define them as any different.

In conclusion. what in the hell was the point? Instead of A to B to C, we went from A to B, back to A for no apparent reason except "creative has nothing for you".

I think Bischoff wants to bring back Hot Lesbian Action.
