Former TNA Star Homicide Retiring, Scott Hall Update

— Former TNA Star Homicide is retiring from wrestling: According to sources, Homicide is not at all pleased with the state of professional wrestling at the current time. The former TNA and ROH star is so disgruntled that he is planning on leaving the business next year. The belief is that Homicide is having trouble garnering any attention from WWE, TNA, ROH or the independent wrestling circuit.

— Scott Hall and DDP have both tweeted that they are planning to donate any extra money raised to charity. They’ve now raised over 100k.

  2. DJBIGCG says:

I remember that barbwire or what have you match you did with steve corino, and it was great. It's a shame your going to retire

  3. Tiffanydude says:

Damn Poor Homicide hope TNA resigns him soon, X Division Baby!

  4. TFnatureboyfig4 says:

I'd love to see TNA re-sign him.

  5. tna24 says:

maybe he get no love, because the way he is. didnt tna fire him because of something he did

  6. Treck says:

TNA needs to rehire him. Shove Havoc to the curve and reform LAX!

  7. hangers says:

Homicide was no big loss for TNA, I can't remember him working a really good match without botches during his time. I think LAX were broken up much too soon though..

    • DirkB says:

The only bad botch I ever saw from him was when he nearly broke AJ's neck with that Gringo Killa.

Hernandez is still with TNA and he's hurt a few guys.

  8. pepsilover2008 says:

Wasn't he kicked because of a bad attitude or something, if so i wouldn't be surprised if they weren't interested.

  9. whatsup121 says:

Best of luck to you Homicide

  10. Darkelzallon says:

Bad attitude? Backstage heat? I wonder why not many places want to sign him

  11. DirkB says:

The worst part of this story is I read the headline as "Homicide returning" :(

Homicide asked to be released from TNA. He reportedly said a few things but nothing bad, not like Joe going crazy backstage.
I always liked Homicide, he never really got a shot as a singles guy with TNA and LAX is still 100x better than Chavo and Hernandez.

  12. Mr. Excitement says:

Chavo is boring to watch. *yawn*

    • OldManEaston says:

Chavo should have never been signed. The last time he was even remotely interesting was when he was working with Eddie. Literally his whole career has been in Eddie's shadow, and for good reason. Eddie was clearly the all around better performer, and I'm not just saying that because he is dead and now everyone looks at him like a martyr and overrates him. Eddie was never quite as good as revisionist history paints him, but he was head and shoulders above Chavo. Chavo is one of those guys I look at and sometimes forget that he has been around forever. It is like large intervals of his career just completely don't even register.

  13. Cezar says:

    No LAX reunion?

  14. Leg Drop Jobber says:

It's pro wrestling's loss! Homicide brings a lot to the table. Unfortunately, the smaller guys don't stand a chance in a nationally televised wrestling promotion, other than ROH… which isn't really saying much. I seriously hope one day that the "big guy era" finally comes to an end. Wrestling needs a change and it's been right in front of them for almost two decades now. MORE FOCUS ON THE SMALLER GUYS, PLEASE. They're WAY MORE EXCITING than most bigger guys.

    • tna24 says:

smaller guys get a chance, rey mysterio, aries, punk etc…people just love seeing a big guy beat down on people. i dont think the big guy ERA will never change.

      • Leg Drop Jobber says:

Your comment should say "some" smaller guys…

If your reference to guys like CM Punk (the "longest reigning bla, bla, bla) are actually true, then maybe it IS actually beginning to change.

  15. Listentna says:

Chavo is horrible. Horrible tad poll splash, horrible 3 amigos, he even has a horrible spanish acent. He makes his opponent’s look like they cant wrestle cause its hard for them to carry him in a match. Plus hernandez does all the work ans chavo just steals the W.

    • MRPC says:

Did you watch Impact last week? Chavo was on fire in that match and the crowd were hot for him. Same with Hernandez. They showed the signs of beginning to really click as a team. With Bad Influence and the Dirty Heels in the mix there is some hope for the tag scene again.

  16. Listentna says:

Oh and chavos horrible back roll off a opponent is just horrible

  17. annil8or4321 says:

its a shame hed bring some needed heat to the x division

  18. TnaCanada1 says:

    tna star bahaha
