Heyman & Many Others Comment On RVD’s Return

Heyman & Many Others Comment On RVD’s Return has posted an article on the return of RVD to WWE. Here are some of the highlights…

Paul Heyman: “The entire WWE Universe is buzzing about the return of a true one-of-a-kind, Rob Van Dam. And no one, I assure you, no one is more exhilarated about the return of RVD than Paul Heyman himself. Because after all, Rob Van Dam is a “Paul Heyman Guy.””

The Miz: “One of the greatest highfliers, a Legend in my mind. I remember from ECW to WWE, this guy is action-packed, he is a showstopper, he is must-see. He’s not going to take The Miz’s spot. I welcome all comers. I’ve always welcomed anyone that’s come back, because the fact is, if people are going to watch them, they’re going to stay to watch me. Who knows how much he has left in the tank? I’m curious to see how he does. I’m a huge fan and I look forward to getting in the ring with him.”

Vickie Guerrero: “My responsibility is making the best opportunities for Monday Night Raw. To have RVD return back to WWE, I am honored to be part of the board that looked at his profile and welcomed him with open arms. RVD and I go back many years to when he was with Eddie. I cannot wait to see him here.”

Brad Maddox: “Of course I’m not surprised, because I signed him. Or I should say, re-signed the legendary RVD. I specifically told him to wait for Money in the Bank, because I wanted to maximize profitability.”

Titus O’Neil: “Anything that gets the WWE Universe excited in any way, shape or form, I’m excited about. Because that means more fans in the WWE Universe that will be spending more money to buy Prime Time Players T-shirts. So yeah, I’m excited about RVD coming back.”

Damien Sandow: “I am not threatened by any man whose name is three letters.”

  2. MRPC says:

Of course Paul Gayman would have to comment.

  3. lee4tammy says:

    no job rob

  4. lee4tammy says:

its ironic that no job rob will only be jobbed out in worst wrestling ever

seriously the best think to happen to wwe i just hope tna make aj the champ after the way he jobbed to no job rob

  5. Slug says:

Paul Heyman is a turd that won’t flush.

As much as I love RVD in TNA,TNA doesn't need him anymore, hopefully WWE uses him right, they need people like RVD more.

  7. Whatsup121 says:

    Paul Hayman is a tool

Funniest part about the comments, Paul Heyman says a few days ago basically TNA isn't in the same league blah blah blah, then on the other hand acts like one of the talents that has been in TNA recently is one of the greatest wrestlers ever. Bit of a double standard there.

I know there were a lot of people that wished Heyman would have come in and work with TNA, but I just get a 'I want to punch him' feeling when I hear that WWE kiss@$$ speak. Just can't trust him, IMO.

no he never really bashed tnas talents at all he just said the company as a whole doesnt even have 5% of the market share of the wwe, no one really knows who tna. i bet you ask the average person watching tv about rvd , kurt angle sting, dudleys they will think they retired or maybe if they ever went to indy shows before think they might be doing occasional indy apperarnces at best..

im a fan of tna and kinda of wwe at times, recently wwe has been putting on a better product than in the past. and nxt is prob the best show in wrestling right now on period.

lets face it tna is number 2 by default, only because they are are national tv. if they only tried to be an alternative then maybe things could change.

      • andy3323 says:

Tried to be an alternative? I think there are several 'alternative' things TNA does, like wrestle. And then there is the x-division, of course.

I am sure wwe has it's moments, it's bound to with – what – 6-8 hours of programming per week. I don't really get tied up in the 'can TNA be WWE' junk, because they are two different bodies of work. Like I wouldn't go to someone drinking pepsi and tell them that pepsi just keeps trying to be coke and overtake coke one day, everyone has their own personal taste (pun not intended) and when WCW went under, I went from watching wrestling every week like clockwork to not watching at all/very little until I discovered TNA. I did tune in from time to time to see some legendary favorites like Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker from time-to-time, but didn't watch on a regular basis by any means, once Shawn Michaels left and the Undertaker started breaking down (more) that was it.

  9. Laker says:

If I remember correctly Paul Heyman does not like veterans.

    • andy3323 says:

He doesn't like veterans with other companies, he said he would clear out the older guys if he came to TNA. Whereas he praises veterans when in WWE as if they were the biggest signing in wrestling history.

  10. RavenNevermore says:

Heyman is the most overrated person in wrestling history. With all of the hypocracy of him its so hard to look at his ugly face. He looks as disgusting as gay porn

    • andy3323 says:

You had a thumbs up from me until the gay porn part, I can (thankfully) honestly say I wouldn't be able to compare anyone to that out of lack of viewing experience….just sayin'.
