Hulk Hogan Promotes This Week’s TNA iMPACT! ………

Pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, who “quit” TNA on last week’s taped edition of iMPACT! Wrestling on Spike TV, recently did a promotional interview for this week’s TNA television taping in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

While Hogan mentioned that he may not be at the taping this week, it is a bit curious when stepping outside of the storylines and analyzing the real-life contract situation with Hogan and TNA, considering the fact that Hogan’s contract reportedly expired on October 1st, and he is still promoting future TNA events. This would seem to indicate he’s still with TNA Wrestling.

Hogan, who played up his television feud with company president Dixie Carter, told the Tulsa World recently, “I think Dixie has flipped the switch or something, she’s off on a tangent here.”

Additionally, Hogan spoke as if he is still part of the behind-the-scenes effort to build the current TNA television product by saying, “It’s an artform and a lot of the artform has been lost because the TV demands that things happen fast and get out of the ring. So we’re trying to make wrestling how it should be.”

Why do I get the feeling 'Hollywood' Hogan will be back in a tough-guy-face type role to go against 'team Dixie' based on AA bringing up Hollywood Hogan in the last show and Hogan saying he got it.

Because you're drunk? WWE own the rights To "Hollywood Hogan"

      • Vampirofan says:

Even if that's true, doesn't mean they can't bring a Hollywood style Hogan into TNA, just not use the actual name. To be honest I can see that happening too, they've teased it in the past when he came back during the Aces and Eights storyline.

Calling people names is never cool. Especially when you're wrong. Hogan owns the trademark.

That's what I thought but didn't want to call it in case I was wrong. See? That's me not jumping to conclusions. There's no way HH would give up his Hollywood persona to anyone. Or anything else for that matter.

          • Philly_Cheese says:

Well it's not really that he wasn't willing to give it up, just it was created during his WCW years where he had total power over every little thing relating to him. He trademarked it long before WWE took over WCW to even consider it's use.
