Jeff Hardy’s Replacement On TNA’s UK Tour Revealed

Jeff Hardy’s Replacement On TNA’s UK Tour Revealed

TNA has confirmed via Facebook that TNA Champion Jeff Hardy was pulled from the tour of the UK. The company claims it was an injury (and there will be an angle to explain it on the January 24 episode of iMPACT! Wrestling) but it’s actually because Hardy can’t travel due to his legal problems. He has a felony on his record and that prevents him from traveling overseas at the current time.

Sting will replace Hardy on the tour. This means that unless Hardy is on the show through pre-taped vignettes or interviews, he will miss four weeks of iMPACT! Wrestling TV. Hardy has been advertised for the tour since tickets went on sale eight months ago.

Here is the official announcement:

TNA IMPACT WRESTLING regrets to inform our fans in the UK and Ireland that Jeff Hardy will not be on the Road To Lockdown Tour, due to an injury sustained on the TNA IMPACT WRESTLING show on January 18.

However we are delighted to announce that ‘The Icon’ Sting will be replacing Jeff at the TNA live events in Dublin, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and London.

Also appearing on all five shows will be global wrestling superstars including Kurt Angle, Bully Ray, Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, James Storm, Magnus, RVD, Tara and Velvet Sky.

The Immortal Hulk Hogan and Brooke Hogan were recently added to the roster for TNA’s TV tapings in Manchester and London.

The stars of TNA Wrestling: British Boot Camp – Marty Scurll, Rockstar Spud and The Blossom Twins – will also be appearing in Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and London.

I'm really happy that Sting will return here again , I honestly don't know why Jeff Hardy still holding the title, They should have give it to Daniel, cause it will be wear to see 4 weeks of IMPACT without the WH title.

  4. Stunner says:

I think A Double should get the title back !

  5. Sunny says:

This is great news, I was hoping Sting will be part of the tour and lets face it, he simply can't miss 4 weeks of Impact and there won't a IMPACT without him in UK. The Impact tapings are one of the biggest shows for TNA and they can't afford to have a big name like him not showing there in front of such a big crowd.

  6. HolsG says:

I couldn't care less about Jeff being on the tour, i just feel sorry for the fans who want to see him and have been thinking he's on the tour for nearly a year.
Completely hyped about Sting coming back though – his reactions are always amazing

  7. pepsilover2008 says:

Congrats tna, that's what ya get for giving him such a huge title right after he came back from something that he could and probably should have been fired about

    • IHNSAIN says:

for 1 it wasn't right after it was pretty much 6 months yeh and also tna would have known bout travel probs way before now
being fired wat for wrestling fucked cause that was tnas prob he should have never been aloud out there and he was suspended for a gd 6 months
now kurts dui should he not have been fired for that then he could have ran over a kid or is it jst cause drugs cause in that case im sure rvd should be outa there dnt tell me snow does not do drugs rob t steroids rob e poppers :) but yeh there not all cm puks they are real ppl

i know i know ur a jeff hardy hater and thats kl u cant go on jst hating ur dad forever

      • pepsilover2008 says:

Funny I actually used to be a huge hardy fan, but lets be honest hardy actually hurt someone due to his drug issues, but while you bring up parent your father really should have taught you to spell correctly.

  8. Mutter5 says:

Yes! Much rather have Sting! Cant wait till Thursday now!

  9. ViceyThaShizzle says:

While Hardy can easily be replaced during the tour the WHC can not be.

    • IHNSAIN says:

whc i dnt relly mind being replaced esp in places like glasgow where iam cause all we wouled get is him vs bobby for the whc and he aint gona lose it at a house show in glasgow not even a 1%chance tna need to stop doing that house show main events whc matches

  10. IHNSAIN says:

kinda annoyed hardy not gonna be there not to bothered as sting is in his place but still tna advertised hardy as going to be there because he is one of the biggest draws nxt to sting and that no hardy hater can denie without lying and if u really think ur not lying then ur delusional
but yeh im pissed tna advertising knowing he wouled not be able to go and u have ppl paying 95 pound for there pass and norm ticket

  11. rachel says:
