— A fan asked Jeff Jarrett at Wrestlecon on Saturday about his announcement on Monday. Jarrett said: “You’ll see Monday and we’ll be speaking on Monday. Bank on that.”

— Adam Pearce is still up for being the PA announcer for the San Diego Padres. The online voting will determine a group of ten that the Padres will choose from. You can vote for Pierce by voting for him here or on Twitter with the hashtag #PadresPA23.

— There will be an announcement about Pro Wrestlers vs Zombies tomorrow morning at 10 AM at Wrestlecon.

— Colt Cabana’s show on Thursday night was in a small venue that only held around sixty people, but it was full. The group watched No Holds Barred with Cabana, Marty DeRosa, Cliff Compton and “someone from the UK” providing commentary. Colt mentioned that he was wrestling Jeff Jarrett this weekend and hoped he didn’t screw up so Jarrett would invite him to his new wrestling project.

— Jake Roberts, Gangrel and Jasmin St. Claire are all in the new horror film Catch of the Day. Check out the trailer here.

Wrestlemania 30 on Sunday. Sting May or may not appear at either wwe wrestlemania 30, or Monday night raw. JJ is making a wrestling announcement on Monday. I say, this should be a good time for wrestling on those days

The timing is not coincidental. Imagined if Sting did show up and cut a promo about Jarretts new project..

      • godoftna says:

Unless the McMahons are involved in said project, Sting's mic would be cut off in 2 seconds and he'd ruin any chance he has of being used properly by the WWE. At that point, ole Vince would go out of his way to make a lesson out of Sting.

Pretty much. No idea why you were down-thumbed for your comment.
I guess some can't handle the truth.

          • Peckar says:

I wouldn't give a thumb down any meaning at all. You probably have a stalker like me who thumbs you down within five minutes no matter what you say.

With the majority of the announcements made in wrestling today being major letdowns, I'm curbing my enthusiasm for Double J's big reveal just a little bit. I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say, and if it is indeed a new promotion, it can only mean good things for the business as a whole(especially if it'll debut on CMT as rumors have stated). Solid competition will push the others to put forth better products, and give the performers themselves more options of places to work. Despite what anyone may say or think, the day that WCW was bought by the McMahons was one of the darkest days in pro wrestling history. TNA has strived to fill that hole, and while they were slightly successful, the turn over rate of the company does not bode well for it's future. TNA needs to devise AND stick to a long term plan and not keep throwing things at a wall to see what sticks. If they are going to dedicate themselves to this new "youth" movement, then they need to see it through to fruition.
