Kevin Nash Knocks The Aces & 8s Storyline – Details

Kevin Nash recently tweeted the following about the Aces and 8s storyline:

‘Taz has an iron clad contract, that allows him to interact in felony acts and keep his job.Why don’t they raise 4 fingers on each hand? Ouch!

That’s all I wanted to comment about, story line is getting weak buy adding sub mid card players, history always repeats itself.

I love watching pro wrestling, not trying to s–t on the product.Just feel the show should revolve around Angle.who would kill the crew”

nash is on point. i found yesterdays impact embaressingly bad.

    • Dante_Cross says:

Yes I agree. I thought Brisco could 'talk' but he and Garrett didn't deliver on the mic. And Nash is correct, so far, Aces and 8s is full of guys who were midcarders in WWE and guys like Garrett who is a rookie along with Brisco, who didnt make it out of WWE developmental.

The end result of this had better be Jeff Jarrett or this storyline will be a bucket of shit.

The tag title match was great, what were you watching?

      • Bigmike885 says:

he watched the whole show.just like i good match doesnt make a good show..Raw was the same way..Jericho/punk was great, but raw sucked ass…

" The show should revolve around angle"
    Kurt Angle ? :S
    why ??

    • DJBIGCG says:

Why? Because he is Kurt freakin angle lol

      • nwoforlife says:

Nash is just upset because tna is on a roll and hes not their to cash in on it and as far as mid card guys go they are on tv where are you Nash still sleeping on Vince mac door step waiting for a bone or 2 no one to blame but yourself Nash you could of stayed help tna hell you would of been a great leader for aces@8 but you went for that fast payday and buy the way Nash you were a mid card guy until hogan made you a star with the nwo i hope you think things out and come back to wresting because to us fans it is 4 life brother

      • TwIsTeD_EnEmY says:

        He is 45 years old….
Just an utterly ridiculous statement to make

  3. mfg420 says:

Kevin Nash would put him self in a bad story line if the money wuz good … History did repeat it self when nash came back with nWo got his money n then just let wwe shit all over the nWo name .. What wuz all that for life crap n now u wanna shit on TNA ha! TNA is doing just fine with out u Nash move along all you got is shit coming out yo mouth n u don’t have a mic n a ring to spit it in just twitter..

  4. andy3323 says:

Look, I know they have midcarders as the main guys unmasked currently but there are two things that work with that…..First, the masks are important to them, it hides their identities, they can have their mid level guys unveiled and it won't hurt a lot, but we all know there are bigger names/higher powers no one knows and will blow this thing wide open and THAT is when this thing goes to another level. Second, guys like Brisco, Bischoff, DOC, Knox….this is a chance for them to repackage/breath life into their potential careers, its smart to put them in there because it creates many more ways to use them and, such as with Garrett, people booed him anyway, now he can take that and build a character off of it.This went from the initial attack on sting, to minor side story, to brewing plot, to larger angle, if they do it right then next will be major/primary storyline that everything else revolves around and we already know Angle and Joe are primary TNA players in the story. Who knows, maybe AJ comes back in a big way to save TNA.

Just typical Nash complaining from the sidelines. I bet if TNA asked him to be the Leader of A&8s, he'd jump on twitter and start talking about how revolutionary and amazing the stable is.

He just talks, and is bitter that he's reached the age where talking is all he can do.

  6. tna24 says:

who cares who in the group really, the story just meant for a bunch of guys to beat on people in tna. they have people who felt they got piss on by tna or just new guys. it good story with a nice group of guys. they just cant allow Garrett or Brisco to talk

  7. hangers says:

Not a huge fan of way this storyline is going but Nexus were all youngsters and mid-carders…

    • tna24 says:

at first now 4 of former nexus are doing big things. one in a tag team, one in a tag team with the titles and who once hold the heavy weight title. one a beast and in the wwe title picture and one has the intercontinental title. this story just a way to give more people time. looking at it that way, make the story good. why make a group full of people who get time. let give more people time on tv and that what As & 8 doing

      • andy3323 says:

We have to remember, this storyline with Aces and 8s is still in it's begining stages, really. You still have masked members and no one knows who the leader(s) are yet. Once that is all revealed, THEN you start the heavy load of the storyline and war between the Aces and 8s. I'm sure you'll have some turncoats, new names, etc as the storyline progresses from that point.

Judging it now is like judging a book by the first chapter, or better yet, a video game by the intro cutscene and playing half of a level.

        • Bigmike885 says:

aces and 8s has been going on for what..6 months..longer??..Nexus at least were all on TV before they became nexus..attacked at will while you knowing who they were, and you know..won a match or two making them seem crediable..

          • tna24 says:

well the nexus guys you would know them if you follow there other show nxt. if not then they would be young unknown guys. just like the shield who i had no idea who they were because i only watch raw.

          • Bigmike885 says:

either way..they explained who they were, so you could go and check them out if you wanted to…E&8's has been on TNA TV for 6 months and the story is going nowhere..

    • Rated_Maxx says:

This group lasted way longer than any nexus faction.

  8. Treck says:

He is just bitter that they did not ask him to be involved. I am not downing this storyline till its further down. These current members are pawns to something bigger. Trust me

  9. SammartinoJC says:

History always repeats…like when Nash, Hall, Xpac tried to reform NWO in TNA….remember "the Band"?….Nash is such a dick!

  10. HolsG says:

Storylines getting old but glad they mixed it up a little with Taz coming into the group.
Will also make commentaries more interesting like back in the days with Don West convinced that Suicide and Daniels were the same ROFL

  11. theone10386 says:

the reason i think they dont hold up 4 fingers on both hands is because. It would look like the 4 horseman. thats why i figure they do it the way they do it. Also Imo I dont think they should even do that. they have aces and 8s on there attire. I think thats good enough.

  12. TheBringer92 says:

Hes right about it having too many mid card/nobody cares about. Apart from that, the mystery to who the leader is, is quite mysterious but its loosing the focus and "energy" Saying that Ill still wait it anyway. Does Nash every congratulate anyone????? He said something about Sting a few weeks ago and hes meant to be his friend.

  13. Dirk1n says:

If all the main eventers joined the group Nash would be complaining that they were ripping off the MEM.
I'm not bothered by A&8s, but it's far from great, Wes and Garett fit perfectly, Wes looks the part at least and Garett is a Bischoff. Putting those two in the group makes it even more personal for Angle.

My big problem is that a biker gang was never going to set the wrestling world alight, I know there was a popular tv show but that doesn't mean much.

  14. Leg Drop Jobber says:

As stated several times already… How is a group at all a threat when they can't even win a match?

That's my problem with Aces and Eights. NO HEAT! They are absolutely no threat! How is a group that can't even win a match intimidating? I really want to like this group/storyline, but let's face it… if you can't BEAT anyone in the ring, you are no threat in pro wrestling!!!

  15. 2blackbelts says:

If this is supposed to be a "legitimate" spin, than why are they all 1 percent type bikers? Is it because Bischoff produces the Laughing Devils motorcycle show and tied the ideas togeither? If the A and 8's are so bad, why "let them into the building" at all. Lock them out, and no problems.

It is really hard to get a realistic storyline into pro wrestling that is believable. I am so tired of cartoon characters in wrestling, unbelievable gimmicks, and mentally insulting storylines. I have been involved in pro wrestling for 20 years, and I can't even stand some of the product. Luckily I don't have anything to do with plots or storylines.. .It is a shame to see Danial Bryan or Kane doing these insulting gimmicks.

  16. ariesstormjoe says:

nash comes across as an upset petulant child. **** *** nash.

ppl talk about aces and 8s having midcarders. yeah cos they could have flood them with main eventers. ppl do not think. they never flipping think.

  17. Bobamatic says:

I personally like the Aces and 8's story so far. TNA is finally doing a long term group storyline right. Both Doc and Knox weren't even patched in when they were unmasked which means they started from the bottom. Everyone else may be mid carders but there's still the big names to be revealed. I like how they have messed with the online stuff by having different people play roles within the group to keep people guessing. I've been saying for about 10 years now that the lack of groups in wrestling is making it hard to bring guys up. This Aces and 8's storyline as far as I'm concerned hasn't been screwed up yet and still has a lot of potential.
