Kevin Nash Taunts CM Punk – Main Event Mafia Return?

Kevin Nash has posted on Twitter, taunting CM Punk and hinting that he may be joining the Main Event Mafia.

It’s crazy I powerbombed Punk several times and his minions talk about a promo. What did he do to me physically? Not a f*cking thing.

Wish Sting would call ,be nice to get some sleep

Would be nice to have the old Mafia back, the power (experience and ability) that group had was incredible and as they said between 5 of them they had 75yrs and now it will be pushing 80.

Either way i'd like legends in the group (not a fan of 'oldies' though) but the mafia was always like the old mob running around keeping everyone in line – can't really have 20/30yr olds doing that as well

    • Dante_Cross says:

That's funny, I seem to recall everyone bitching about them when they were around, but let some time pass and people's memories get foggy.

I don't want the old MEM, as aside from Sting and Angle and Joe, the group was not worth the TV time and would benefit from fresher guys.

      • HolsG says:

Then it should be a new stable (possibly return the frontline) as that is not what the mafia was, the whole group was legends and it was all about the power and experience they had.
I know what you mean but i think mafia should stay legends

      • ricky_No1 says:

Im with you but the first thing i thought was, oh no not big shitty nash and as much as i love him but dont please be big pappa dump.

  3. russbro says:

My memory is Nash going to WWE when TNA were about to use him in a big arc. I can't see them inviting him back.

  4. 1Risky1 says:

Nash and Booker decided to go back to WWE and screw TNA's plans in reuniting MEM so I hope they use new members

    • Dependant says:

Booker T told TNA that he was declining their offer in a professional manner but Kevin Nash never sent them a response and showed up on WWE's Royal Rumble like a week or two later. Kevin Nash is useless and now hes trying to setup a a internet feud with punk to get another payday or hoping that TNA takes him back Nash is a joke…

      • Philly_Cheese says:

Um actually no… TNA never asked for booker back if I recall correctly, he was let go after his contract expired because of how unprofessional he acted throughout his stay there. We're talking about the same guy who refused to put over Matt Morgan because he felt he didn't deserve it. Luckily Steiner volunteered to take booker's spot on the PPV that he was supposed to do it on.

        • Dependant says:

No Philly TNA wanted the "Full" MEM back at the time which is why Steiner came back and they were trying to get Booker and Nash but when they couldn't they went with the Fortune face turn vs Immortal (Get your facts straight buddy)…..

      • ricky_No1 says:

        Thats unfair to jokes.

    • pepsilover2008 says:

maybe dixie shouldn't allow something to be teased before all offers were lined up… i mean as much as nash and booker kinda jumped at the wrong time for tna, i don't blame them they weren't lined up to do such a reunion.

      • OldManEaston says:

She can't help herself. She get's way too enthusiastic about her own product and is like a little kid grinning from ear to ear when she thinks she is about to pull off something big. It is why I say marks, shouldn't run real wrestling companies. She has about as much restraint as some of the old online bulletin board "promoters", who ran fantasy wrestling feds, that I used to play in the 1990's.

        • IHNSAIN says:

storyline still ran well fourtune vs immortal ended up relly gd

          • OldManEaston says:

It actually worked out better than it probably would have with MEM vs Immortal, because the guys of Fortune were younger and better workers, but that is kind of beside the point. The planned MEM reunion made TNA look incompetent, because they couldn't help but to tease their big moment before they had all their ducks in a row.

  5. kevinroulette says:

Isnt Nash under a legends deal with wwe still? I always liked Nash but after he left last time and dyed hes hair after he said e wouldnt or wwe. So hes a sell out anymore

    • OldManEaston says:

That's a good question. I thought so, and found a few little pieces of info where he said he was, but to be honest, I am not even 100 percent sure how that totally works, whether it is completely binding like a regular contract for a set amount of time, or if one or both could opt out at any time.

You never know anything for certain with Nash. He likes to play these kind of games, and it in all likelihood, might just be him blowing smoke.

      • jbcissom says:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Hogan under a "Legends" deal? I mean, I recall him always wrestling overseas and never for a major promotion for a good, long while.

        • Philly_Cheese says:

No Hogan is no longer under a legends deal with WWE. He did manage to find a way to continue getting money from them any time they use his image or likeness (which is why they don't anymore), but he's in no way under contract with them. As far as Nash goes, he is still under contract with WWE. I think his comment was more of a shot at TNA in that he constantly appeared for TNA and got paid, but never actually wrestled.

        • ricky_No1 says:

Yea i will correct you. Once again your facts are way off

          • jbcissom says:

Man, you're such a douche and very uneducated at that. Apparently you don't know the difference between "was" and "is". One is past-tense, the other present-tense. So I was right dipstick.

          • ricky_No1 says:

Whether present or past is beside the point. Hogan was never under a legends deal as you put it. So guess you were off the mark with your facts again and if you cant validate your facts you turn to weak insults. Very mature indeed for someone so well educated.

    • pepsilover2008 says:

No he got released after his match with triple h. It's kinda sad how a storyline about cm punk ended up with triple h being involved (not like it's the first time he buried someone i suppose). It Effectively killed punk's momentum and the interest i had with wwe.

      • Whatever says:

I think u are confused on the difference between a wrestling contract and a legends contract. He’s under a legends deal which means he’s still employed by wwe for promotional work, DVD deals, and even special appearances and maybe just maybe another match or 2 if they have something for him. It’s their way of saying if we have something for u we will call u but u can’t work for any other major promotion like tna. Indies are fine though.

        • pepsilover2008 says:

He isn't under a contract what so ever he has confirmed this along time ago. Once again you have proven your uselessness.

          • Whatever says:

Do more research jackass. In 2011 he signed a 5 year legends contract. Your stupidity must not allow you to understand what a legends contract is. Or course you are a tna fan boy so that explains a lot of the stupidity.

          • pepsilover2008 says:

I did do more research he was released at the beginning of '12 and has continued coming in to wwe to help much like flair has been so he can be in the independents. Look up Nash released in 2012 that's all the research you need. Just because he signed a five year contract doesn't mean he can't be released.

          • ricky_No1 says:

            under contract until 2016

          • Whatever says:

His wiki page that is currently updated this year does not say anything about him being released from his legends contract. Besides under a legends contract he is able to do Indy events and things like that. It’s not a wrestlers contract and I still think u don’t get the difference between the 2

  6. Sturk says:

I wouldn't mind seeing Nash again. I just don't see how they'd have beef with Aces & 8's. Hopefully they take out the mid cared Aces & 8's guys.

    • Blood Runs Cold says:

Outside of Anderson, A&8’s are mid carders. Team 3D is a draw as a tag team, but D-Von isn’t a great singles wrestler and bully is above average

      • dcnaz says:

That's why it's a good stable. Good stables carry younger or less experienced guys. Look at what Evolution did for Randy Orton and Batista.

    • cr30k says:

Im thinking its gonna be sting, angle, rampage, jarrett and morgan

  7. JoeWrestling says:

Nash did own CM Punk and demolished HHH with a sledge hammer. Got to give an old man with no leverage credit for getting on WWE and demolishing the top guys and getting out without losing much.

  8. DarkNexxus says:

I'm going to agree with most of the comments on here. Leave Nash in WWE. His TNA time has passed, his leaving was sudden, and I'd rather not see a old/new face come in the door to join the team. In my very unprofessional opinion, Sting should captain this team, not take a part in it, but we know he will. Still, for his partners, based on current bad/good guys, I think the team would have SamoaJoe, Magnus, Storm, Gunner, possibly Angle, although, the Sting/Angle feud helped bring that group down last time. I considered Chavo, but he's still new, AJ is on the fence, though he'd make a damn good teammate for this. You also have Abyss/Parks floating in the background. Sting and the monster bonded a few years ago, and Sting seems to like Parks on screen, so it could happen. I"m sure I'm forgetting a ton of players, but that's all I can think of for now.

    • OldManEaston says:

I think if you are going to do a Main Event Mafia, they better be bonafied main event talents.. It would pre preferable if it consisted of guys who were associated with Sting in the original MEM, because remake stables consisting of new guys rarely if ever pan out and are generally vastly inferior to their predecessors. The problem with that is, they are all old now and beat up with the exception of Angle and half are with WWE. The way they have worked the storyline so far with no one helping Sting, it would look pretty stupid if they just randomly started pairing TNA guys with Sting and there are not a lot of credible main event caliber type wrestlers available outside TNA. They would have to start bringing in some bigger names like Morrison, Batista, MVP etc to have it mean anything other than a generic stable war with Aces and Eights generic stable members.

It would not really make any sense as to why guys like Angle, Joe or Magnus, Cowboy etc would jump to suddenly side with Sting, when they left him to be eaten by the lions just a few weeks ago. Maybe Jospeh Parks/Abyss, because he is nuts, but he is kind of a joke character now, not really a legit Main Event caliber guy anymore. It would really displease me if they gave up on the AJ lone wolf character at this point, because, him being a tweener, is pretty much the best thing he has done in TNA since about 2006. He's not as good as CM Punk as a tweener, who is natural in that role, but he's much better than the bland babyface JTTS AJ, who constantly got lost in the shuffle or heel AJ who always ended up being a lackey. The quickest way to kill it, would be to just stick him in another stable, where the comparisons to his and Sting's character can be easily under the spotlight. TNA has been guilty of some really bad booking at times, but I don't think (or rather I hope they are not dumb enough) to spend all that time repackaging a guy to throw it away so soon. So what we will probably get, is Crimson, and some other borderline guys, and I have little confidence in what they will be able to do with it.

Wasn’t EY in MEM at one point ??? And in team sting v A&8s ???

I think that possably doc is going to turn on aces and eights! Who thinks this is a possably?

  13. Real Deal Heel says:

I don't mind Nash…he's no pussy and speaks his mind. Better to be a dick and interesting than a suckup and lame.

  14. POWERBOMB says:

    Kevin Nash you suck

  15. flanman says:

Sting, Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode, Magnus, Samoa Joe.
