King Mo Not Returning To TNA Anytime Soon

Spike TV president Kevin Kay recently stated that King Mo will not be debuting this summer for TNA. Spike and Bellator want King Mo to return to fighting this summer. Here is what he had to say…

“He’s going to come back and fight in the Summer Series, so we can’t wait to get him back in the cage. I think people will be really interested to see what he does different this time. I’m excited. I love Mo. I think he’s everything you want in a mixed martial artist, right? Because he’s incredibly gifted as an athlete, he’s very versatile and he’s got a great personality. So, you know, nothing changes. I’m now curious to see what he does, as I think the fans are. How’s he going to adjust his game plan and is he going to be able to win a tournament and win a championship in Bellator?

The only thing it changes a little bit is that we thought there would be more time. If Mo had won the tournament, then he would have not had to fight this summer, probably would have gone to TNA for the summer and then come back in the fall to fight in Bellator again. But because we want to get him back in the cage and give him as fast a shot as possible to get back up and running and hopefully win, we’re going to get him back on this summer. So, he won’t go as quickly back to Impact as we originally had planned, but that’s all good. “

Not sure how he could return at this point in time anyways.
There's hardly enough TV-Time for all the story lines that are going on now as it is..

He will not be wrestling in TNA. This was clearly done to get TNA fans to watch Bellator.

this whole king mo stuff is stupid now. he said he will be doing both what a lie. he hasnt done both he was on tna like twice and that it. we need talent that will work for tna not just show up once

King who? Oh the guy that got his ass handed to him recently .

Couldn't see this coming a mile away *Sarcasm*. The hype surrounding this guy coming into Bellator was frankly WAAAY out of his league as a MMA fighter. He's a decent LHW, but, even like Rampage said, he wasn't that impressed with him. So he gets his butt handed to him in his second Bellator fight and NOW! He's got be a serious fighter to get back in contention. He won't be back, it is a 365 day a year thing if he wants to be a MMA champion.

The question is, why TNA ever thought it need him to begin with? Are MMA fans gonna tune in to wrestling? Go to MMA boards and see what the seemingly vast majority of posters think about pro wrestling in general and their fear of having MMA lumped in with it. There is some obvious cross over, but those fans are already watching both.

    big waste of time

They tried this with Bobby Lashley and it didn’t work….now they are trying with King Mo…….and its not working. Time to give up on this idea of having someone in both companies at the same time!
