From Efren Bojorquez and prowrestling.net:
There were about twenty people in line when I arrived. The box office was EMPTY. I grabbed my ticket with one person next to me thirty minutes before and never saw anyone hit the box office after that. People brought everything from a TNA World Championship belt to a WrestleMania X-8 strategy guide for RVD to sign.
The doors opened a few minutes after 4:30 in 108 degree weather (they couldn’t put us in the lobby earlier apparently…but we were in the shade) and we were brought inside. Security said only one item per person would be signed, but RVD was just the nicest guy. He didn’t mind one bit when people had more than one thing. He was GREAT with the kids and took as much time as each person wanted. He posted for pictures, did video messages to people who couldn’t make it via the fan’s cellphone. He was a very nice representative for TNA on this day.
I got up to meet him and just shook his hand and thanked him and TNA for coming to Phoenix, especially for their biggest show. He said thank you very much and said he would definitely pass that along. I talked to a rep from TNA and she said the exact same thing. My words would be passed along, and they were very excited to be coming to Phoenix for the first time. Anyone who came to meet RVD left happy. Well done.
