**SPOILERS** TNA iMPACT! Results (Next 2 Weeks)

*ODB defeated Tara

TNA iMPACT! 7.04.13:
*They had an opening segment with Hulk Hogan to set up the main event. Noteworthy coming out of this is that Suicide is no more. TJ Perkins’ persona is now known as “Manic.” The main event is X-Division champ Austin Aries vs. Manic vs. Chris Sabin. All three made appearances to set this up.

*AJ Styles defeated Kazarian with his submission. Short but great. Bad Influence were dressed like Siegfried & Roy.

*TNA Knockouts champ Mickie James promo with a ladder to set up Gail Kim vs. Taryn Terrell ladder match “next week.” Winner of that will be the new number one contender.

*Big O has been eliminated from Gutcheck. Ryan Howe will face the Judges later tonight.

*Hernandez defeated Jay Bradley after Chavo Guerrero’s distraction. Not much to this.

*Backstage, Aces & Eights vow to take care of Austin Aries tonight.

*TNA Tag Team champs Gunner & James Storm defeated Robbie E & Jesse Godderz. The finish was screwy so they did it a second time.

*Sting promises to prevent any Aces & Eights interference in the main event.

*In a Bound for Glory Series bout, Jeff Hardy defeated Joseph Park by DQ Park was busted open in the mouth and when he saw his blood, he snapped and nailed the referee with a Black Hole Slam. Mostly good but a few mis-steps by Hardy.

*Ryan Howe was turned down by the TNA Judges. This got the biggest pop of the night. Howe was booed unmercifully by the crowd, which Judge Danny Davis acknowledged. David voted yet. Bruce Prichard and Al Snow turned him down. The place became unglued for that. Seriously.

*Chris Sabin defeated Austin Aries & Manic to capture the TNA X-Division championship in 14:37 with Cradleshock off the second rope on Aries for the win. Aces & Eights took out Manic after Doc powerbombed him on the floor. The Main Event Mafia hit the scene to ward off A&8. There were “TNA” and “This is awesome” chants. The show ended with Sabin vowing to defeat Bully Ray for the title.

TNA iMPACT! 7.11.13:
*There will be three Joker’s Wild Tag Matches as part of Bound for Glory Series.

*AJ Styles & Samoa Joe defeated Jeff Hardy & Joseph Park in 4:48 when Joe forced Park to tap out to the Kokina Clutch. Good for the short time they had.

*Magnus & Mr. Anderson defeated Jay Bradley & Hernandez in 3:55. Anderson wouldn’t tag in, leaving Magnus to work solo/ Magnus schoolboyed Hernandez for the pin.

*Aces & Eights cut a promo about the Five Guys in the Main Event Mafia. MEM came out and challenged them to a fight next week in Louisville. Aces declined. MEM said Bully Ray will be defending his title next week. They vowed to reveal their new member tonight.

*Kaz & Bobby Roode defeated Daniels & Austin Aries. A great 6:20 match. Daniels broke up a Kaz pin to tease dissension. Kaz small packaged Daniels a few seconds later for the pin. Bad Influence teased a split but left together.

*All the winning teams won 25 points in the BFG Series.

*Gail Kim defeated Taryn Terrell in an AWESOME ladder match to become the new number one contender for the TNA Knockouts championship in 11:36. SICK spots throughout the match. This was even better than their TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view match. “This is awesome” and “Holy sh*t” chants during the match.

*Magnus pinned Bobby Roode to win a six man Gauntlet in 15:02. Really good match.

*Chavo Guerrero pinned Kenny King clean in King’s hometown. Tons of signs for King in the crowd. Vegas was NOT happy.

We’ll have a much more detailed report from the iMPACT! tapings later today. Stay tuned for that.

  1. TwIsTeD_EnEmY says:

Im not sure about that Ryan Howe as a wrestler, but i thought it was quite unique the way he entered the ring during his gut check match

  2. nicholal79 says:

Why did TNA give the belt back to Sabin on the next Impact? TNA just blew the Austin Aries swerve!

    • Philly_Cheese says:

Probably to set up a feud, which I think AA and Sabin could really do well if they build up a really good feud between them. Hopefully Sabin still has that cocky self-interest gimmick he had a long time back, which would go pretty well between him and AA. More than likely It'll lead up to Destination X.

  3. Dave dubay says:

What a waste give aries the title then taking it away. Tna needs to step it up hopefully austin aries wins the bfg series to reclaim the world heavyweight championship. A Double the greatest man that ever lived!

  4. Dependant says:

I'm not sure If Sabin is in the mafia or not atm.

  5. jbcissom says:

I'm f'n lost…. why TNA, why? Hey, let's take the x div strap off of Sabin, put it on Aries, only to have him lose it at the next set of tapings…. Whoever is over creative needs a good pimp slap. TNA has screwed it up with Jay Lethal in the past (beating Kurt Angle one night, and losing to some x div wrestler the next night), AJ Styles (AJ and Sting's BFG match that was supposed to set AJ up as TNA's franchise) and now Aries…. makes it real tough to be supportive of TNA.

  6. andy3323 says:

I'm going to give TNA the benefit of a doubt and watch it play out, surely they did that swerve for a reason. They have to either be A) building up Sabins determination and ability to overcome anything B) building up AA for additional swerves (personally wondered why he would get an automatic shot while in the BFG series) C) We're only being set up for additional swervage.

Either way, I'm going to give it more time to play out before I declare the writers deadbeats and the storyline a complete waste.

    • nicholal79 says:

Benefit of the doubt? How many times have we given TNA the benefit of the doubt and have them screw it up? More times than we can count!

      • OldManEaston says:

I agree, TNA has never once earned the benefit of the doubt. I've been waiting for 12 years for them to get to that point, where you can say, "Yeah they may have done something really stupid here, but they will make up for it with something that really hits the mark and makes you forget about it." It just doesn't happen in TNA.

There are basically 2….No 3 things that you can absolutely count on in the world of professional wrestling right now over the last decade and a half.

#1: Being the number 3 company outside of the mainstream really blows and it is a horrible position to be in. It means no money, and no matter how good your matches are, your wrestlers are, or what kind of storylines you put on, it won't matter because you are just there to have your talent poached by bigger companies that are not as creative.

#2: TNA will find a way to screw up more often than not, by thinking they are being tricky, when actually they are just writing bad storylines that either get shoved down the memory hole or die a horrible death.

#3: No matter how good WWE is at any one point in time, Vince will have one of his moments of God complex, where he seemingly puts roadblocks in the way on purpose or outright goes mental and deliberately torpedoes something…seemingly just to remind himself that he is Vince McMahon and can do what he wants.

This is a horrible time to be a wrestling fan, and it is not surprising that fans are leaving this industry like rats off a sinking ship. For every glimmer of hope, there is about 5 things to remind you how stupid you are for continuing to care about it.

        • jbcissom says:

Quick question… who are you referring to as the # 3 company?

          • OldManEaston says:

Whomever is the #3 company at the time. It doesn't matter, it is always the same story. It could be ECW, it could be ROH, it could be DGUSA or anyone else who has great periods of creativity only to be raided like Winnie the Pooh's honey tree.

        • stevontte1 says:

          What company is #2?

          • whatever says:

Whoever likes it or not no matter who you believe is a better company but #1 Wwe #2 Tna #3 Roh. Thats just thevway it is.

          • OldManEaston says:

TNA is obviously #2. What other country has the market penetration and exposure other than TNA? There are other companies that do better business in their own domestic markets, but they don't have the exposure of TNA, even if TNA is a very distant #2, to the point where #2 really just means a back up option for guys to work if they don't get signed by WWE. It is like the New York Yankees vs a AAA baseball team in terms of their market comparison, but they are still #2.

          • stevontte1 says:

Ok I was reading your post wrong. I thought you were saying tna's the number 3 company.

  7. Steven kelly says:

Hm i kinda like it its dam unpredictable n who wants to be always saying that they know whats gunna happen next hey guys its tna nt the lame wwcenae

  8. guillorycg says:

They need to sign Ohriner and send him to OVW. This guy has too much potential. If they don't WWE will.

  9. OldManEaston says:

I'm sorry, but having Aries swerve to then be defeated cleanly by Sabin is COMPLETELY F'ING IDIOTIC! This type of crap is why TNA gets the bush league comparison sometimes. IS VINCE RUSSO SECRETLY BACK AND BOOKING THIS SH*T?

In what twisted world does it make Sabin look more legit to get swerved and then get an immediate win back, instead of just a clean win over Aries to begin with? I In what world does it make Aries look like main event to swerve and then get an immediate loss? I know, I know it is such a novel concept to just put a guy over cleanly in TNA at times and have a consistent build, when they clearly just like to swerve for the sake of swerving.

  10. Roid Master says:

I had to go to Wikipedia to find out who the two new MEM members are.

  11. deke43 says:

So. Who was the next member of the MEM?

  12. Zxspectrum says:

I was just going to ask that.. Off to wiki I go!

  13. Bakersfieldmaniac says:

Whats the deal about abyss and j parks. There is no clear direction as to why he continues to play the brother instead of letting Abyss return and wipe out Aces & eights.

  14. THISISASHOOT247 says:

i think that suicide was originally bought back with the soul purpose of getting TJ Perkins over in TNA. They needed a way to include him into TNA, and never knew how to do it in a way so that fans who don't watch indy wrestling would know who he was. If you are a fan of indies, than you automatically know that TJP wrestled for TNA in the past as Puma and for ROH, DGUSA, viva la lucha, and Lucha libre USA as Sydistiko more recently and that he wasn't suicide up until this recent suicide run(unlike what Hogan said on Impact). But they basically wanted to enter him into the storylines in a good way. I just hope that this new character is better than Suicide since they got rid of Suicide, which was an amazing idea and has been an amazing idea for years now… On a side note, why the fuck do they keep eliminating the wrestlers that the fans obviously wanna see in TNA on gutcheck?? First it was Ivelisse, than Adam Pearce, and now the Big O… Is this setting up a nexus type storyline or something??

  15. IceStylez says:

    After the Taping Ended:
"The ring cleared after the July 11th episode (taping results) finished filming with TNA Champion Bully Ray, Hulk Hogan and Chris Sabin still standing. Hogan punched Ray as he stumbled into an enziguri from Sabin before going to the back. Hogan and Sabin left together."

Also for show of July 11:
The Main Event Mafia came out and Sting announced Rampage Jackson. The MEM posed to end the show.

  16. JoshuaTNA says:

Remember when Robert Roode won the Bound for Glory series, and went on to face Kurt Angle for the strap only to lose. Everyone hated the decision and started to blame TNA and Hulk Hogan. As the story progressed it gave birth to one of the best Heel characters in TNA history. Trust TNA on this one.
