Major Backstage Update On Ric Flair’s WWE Future

WWE is still working with Ric Flair even without a contract in place. WWE wants to sign him and it’s possible a deal will be made in the next few weeks. TNA is also interested in getting Flair back but he will appear with WWE for the next few months.

Flair is booked for next week’s WWE RAW in San Jose, California and the following night’s SmackDown tapings in Sacramento. After that he will go to Japan for his match with All Japan Pro Wrestling.

Flair’s appearance on Miz TV was to help The Miz solidify as a babyface and for Flair to “give” him the Figure Four leg lock as his finishing move. He told Miz backstage: “I hope they let you beat people with it because I never did.”

A source says that Miz and Flair will appear together again.

So flair chose to LEAVE tna for wwe. And even with that, tna still wants him to come back to tna. I don't even know why tna still wants him when he is frankly in wwe now

There seem to be some desperate people recruiting backstage. I wish they'd look to the indies instead of the likes of Flair. Hell, i'd be grabbing ROH guys before WWE.

Um from what I remember TNA dropped him because of how he behaved… There were major problems during the UK tour and even no showing during house shows he was already paid for. He had a habit of demanding TNA front him money before he appeared… On many occasions he was fronted the money and no showed on them.
