Matt Morgan Makes ‘Surprise’ Appearances At Live Events

Matt Morgan made surprise appearances at both TNA live events in Arkansas this weekend. After attempting to pick a fight with Rob Van Dam Friday night in Hot Springs despite being an attendee, Morgan tried to get involved at Saturday’s show in Fort Smith. Following this, he wrote, on Twitter: “Fort Smith AR. Statement? MADE! Biggest one? Still to come!”

Morgan was acknowledged on Thursday’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling as footage of a recent house show run-in was broadcast. Bruce Prichard then lectured D’Lo Brown on the incident and warned him to not let it happen again.

Please God, let Matt Morgan be the reason why Team Sting loses at BFG. Please don't let it be another failed attempt to turn Sting heel. I'm begging.

I don't think sting will become a heel, but bully ray will turn on sting.

ti doubt it look at storm and roode ppl said that would be for the title at bfg but they went another direction samw with this one its too obvious its bully ray . although stinmg as heel would be interesting

        • Peckar says:

I don't think so. Most of us were saying they didn't need Storm and Roode to fight for the belt at BFG. It does however look too obvious that it is Bully, but can you see it going any other way?

It's all going to depend on the lineup for that night. What I do like is that TNA is actually going in the direction of it being a higher up who's already there, i.e. Bruce Pritchard getting on Al Snow for Morgan's involvement in the house shows.

I'm guessing you haven't followed Sting's career. Sting is one of the few wrestlers whom bookers have tried numerous times to take in a heel direction, and it never works. The guy is a fan favorite. Not to mention, he's being inducted into the HoF the previous night. That's just bad creative direction.

sting is a very good wrestler but tna wants tv rankings and right now aces of eight bring them it is like wcw when the nwo came out it is a big soup opera

          • godoftna says:

and at this point, it would make ZERO sense to turn Sting heel. What would be the motivation? His hatred of Hogan? No, he begged Dixie Carter on Impact to put Hogan back in charge. Another shot at the title? Again, highly unlikely. No, there's just no good, solid reason for turning Sting heel at this point. Either Bully Ray will turn heel, or Matt Morgan will come out and attack both men, or Jeff Jarret makes his return.

      • gator3939 says:

dont everybody be stupid bully ray is the leader of aces of eight

        • jbcissom says:

You do realize how obvious that is. Don't forget, it was just two years ago that the Jeff Hardy swerve occurred. That was a well played swerve by TNA. When it comes to swerves, yes, TNA has failed on a lot of them, but they've done a good job of the Hardy swerve and the Roode swerve.

Morgan bombarding TNA again gives Bruce a reason to fire D-LO which puts D-LO in Aces and Eights which he has been thought to be apart of anyway.

  2. Stunner says:

The Leader of Aces&eights is none other than …. John CENA! Lol ! It’s Bully Ray it only makes sense !

  3. Phenomenal99 says:

I myself also agree that its Bully Ray but you never know TNA might expect this and do a complete turn around its a maybe anyway
