Media Outlet Makes Mistake Regarding Ken Anderson

The local Green Bay, Wisconsin NBC affiliate has published a story on Ken Anderson. The headline refers to him as a “WWE wrestler.” In addition, the story also reads: “Being a part of the entertainment business is exactly what Anderson did. He was a part of the WWE and during those days he was known as Mister Kennedy. Now a days he goes by his real name. After a dispute with WWE, he moved to another circuit where “the venues may be a little cozier, but the passion remains the same.” TNA is mentioned no where in the article.

I seriously doubt it. McMahon may be a bigshot in NY, Connecticut and the surrounding area, but this is Wisconsin. In truth, he's actually not as powerful as he used to be just richer. There was a time when he had MSG and most of the Northeast major venues in his back pocket. The entire NWA had to kiss his ass out of fear and was rumored to have politicians, judges, athletic commissions, police etc answering to him. He was reported to have had quite a few negative situations buried, including possibly murder by a certain superstar who shall go nameless. Before the steroid situation, and the publicly traded status of his empire, he could have probably gotten his wife elected to whatever office he desired in Yankee land, but not so much now as evidence by his wife's failed attempts.

It is really not a grand conspiracy, just a case of a reporter taking the easy road and reporting Anderson's WWE affiliation, because it is the big show in town. In all probability, that person may be only vaguely aware of TNA and not confident than any of the readers would know about it as well.

    this news paper sucks

likely the journos are just poor.

journos are lazy, unintelligent and predictable.

at least thats what i perceive from what i read reported by journos in wrestling, football (soccer if your an americano) and stories written in other areas such as crime.

Where's the mistake? He was in WWE, and it clearly says "A local wrestler describes his days in the ring of the WWE." They put WWE in the title on purpose to get attention.
