More On Kurt Angle’s TNA Return + Attendance #’s

— As noted earlier here on the website, there is still no definite word as to when Kurt Angle will be making his official return to TNA television at this point, however it is expected that he will return soon as it is possible he will be wrestling at the upcoming “Bound For Glory” pay-per-view in October. Additionally, Angle is set to be inducted into the TNA Hall Of Fame.

— The September 12th edition of iMPACT! Wrestling TV from St. Louis drew 2,000 fans, with 1,200 paid. On September 13th, the TNA non-televised live event in Joplin, Missouri drew a reported 800 fans.

There is no way that was 2,000 fans.

    • JoeWrestling says:

Venue holds like 10,000. Non camera side was empty, but the rest had people.. How is 2,000 a stretch? Why do you keep saying it was less than 400 people? There was 400 in a 100 ft hall in Collinsville for ROH you think these two venues are the same size? Plus they just reported 800 for a house show, but you think Impact drew half a house show, which it's right there on TV to see, and was verified by the live people in attendance.

      • Leg Drop Jobber says:

No offense, man. I was also in attendance and it seriously didn't seem like there was nearly that many people in there. I'm not trying to get an emo reaction from you folks, I'm just calling it like I saw it. Is it really coincidence that TNA decides to not do Impact on the road anymore just days after this event? Think about it.

  4. JoeWrestling says:

As I said a week ago, it was about 1280 paid.

    HOF? that is pretty stupid

    • ricky_No1 says:

      Eeeeeerrr, Stupid? How so?

    • Dennis D says:

What’s stupid is that TNA’s only 2 Hall Of Famers (Sting & Kurt Angle) ALREADY beats WWE’s HoF. Talk about pathetic.. WWE has to induct guys twice (Ric Flair) just to add some credibility to there completely clustered and watered down Hall Of Fame.
