More On Sting’s 7/14/2014 Teaser Photo & Future?

UPDATE: The 7/14/2014 teaser photo that Sting tweeted about earlier today likely has to do with the WWE 2K15 video game. It’s worth noting that The Ultimate Warrior did a similar deal for a WWE video game and wound up appearing on television.

We reported last month that Sting was in talks with WWE regarding numerous projects including WWE 2K15, the WWE Network, a Hall of Fame induction and an appearance on WWE television. Sources continue to indicate that “it’s only a matter of time” before the deal is completed as both sides expect it to happen.

ORIGINAL: Oh boy, let the speculation begin!

Sting has posted the following on Twitter, which is his first activity on Twitter since April 10th. The first is an image of his face, the second a date (7.14.14). That date is next Monday….

Who actually owns the rights to the name Sting?

Zzzzzzz. This site is still bluffing they know secret scoops.

For someone that enhanced his reputation by being his own man in a monopolised industry, he sure is beating to the World Entertainment drum now isn't he? A bit like Bret Hart, decades of abuse but now he's one of the family.

"Being his own man" ALSO means that, if he decides he wants to do business with the WWE, he's free to do so. He's already done his wrestling career the way he wanted. Now he can get the credit he deserves, endorse a ton of new products (including, hopefully, lots of Sting DVDs) for his fans, and end his career on a high note. Being able to fill his swimming pool with cold, hard cash probably won't hurt either.

lol comparing bret harts situation to sting isnt even plausible.

    Video game? Yawn.

It would be great if sting shows up on wwe raw this Monday. It also would be funny to all of the tna marks who said sting would never step foot in wwe (besides the last episode of wcw when vkm bought wcw)
