More On The WWE/TNA Tape Library Speculation Inside Here

In regards to the reports about WWE possibly buying the TNA tape library if they were to go under, the mindset within WWE is more of what network TNA might end up on. Of course, it remains to be seen if Spike TV renews them or not.

There hasn’t been much talk about WWE buying their tape library.

A TMZ story then repeated by good ol jr doesn't make this story true. we have 3 full months before it even matters.

This is a made up post lol

Many wrestling fans don't get laid so they have all the time to crate a little world that doesn't exist lol

You know there is not a variety of wrestling anymore besides that boring
WWE that Vince produces everyweek. TNA and ROH does give a different brand
but now talks of WWE buying the library makes me sick. I was very sad when WCW
went under and I hope it doesn't happen again. People who hated WCW back during
the peak of it's programing, have told me they wish it had never went under.

So WWE buys WCW's tape library back in the day and now suddenly they're going to do the same with TNA? The promotion will still survive through this as another network will pick them up.. And on the positive side of things, TNA wont have to promote Bellator anymore..

The only issue with buying it is that it's not for sale and they don't have to sell it. If the company is not in bankruptcy and has no debts they can't settle there is no reason they won't retain their assets. Even if they stop airing TNA they can hold their tape library indefinitely and choose to license the content out however they like or do nothing at all with it. I think WWE or the media should be more concerned with when WWE will be sold, since if their network is not successful and makes little profit there is no reason McMahon won't be looking to get out while he can get a reasonable price for it.
