Report: Jeff Hardy Likely Staying With TNA

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Jeff Hardy looks to be staying with TNA when his contract ends at the end of February. As previously reported, TNA had decided to keep the World Title on him and have him as a focus of the main event scene in order to show his importance to the company. Keep in mind it’s not confirmed that he’s staying with TNA but there has not been any talk of him leaving the company.

Hardy has begun practicing yoga like many others in the business in order to help his overall health and handle the pain from injuries he’s endured over the years.

I do believe Jeff Hardy is going to Retire with TNA. He is not going anywhere….why go anywhere else when you are making decent money, have more control over your creative pursuits, and no drama in the back.

I’m sure WWE has atleast a shot of getting him back, since they put him in their alumni section recently. Normally WWE ignores other companies talent, unless they show footage that has them being beaten, or in some negative light.

wwe nearly destroyed Hardy, aren't they? Through crazy traveling, through all of the pain, and through drug problems. I don't think Hardy really have any intention on going back

Im sick and tired of everybody ripping on WWEs travel schedule..they ALL sign of for it..its not like its a secret..and if TNA gets to the point where all you fanboys want it..they'll do the same schedule..The same thing happened in WCW..everyone jumped ship because of the lighter schedule and then they got huge and had to pick up the pace..and then everyone bitched they were underpaid and overworked..Jeff knew the schedule..he did the crazy ass moves to get himself over because he's never been a very good technical wreslter, and the drug problems were all his doing..as i recall he showed up at a TNA event (a ppv main event no less) stoned out of his mind..but that's right..its WWEs fault..

      • Firestormdzl says:

Both wcw and wwe schedule are crazy aren't they?

Anyway, how much do you know about drugs when you never took them and went through the same situation as Jeff?

"as i recall he showed up at a TNA event (a ppv main event no less) stoned out of his mind" If he took drugs before the match, he would have a perfect match with Sting. I believe Jeff was trying to clear himself while wrestling as a World Champion. He paid the consequence but I believe god was willing to give him a second chance because my friend who did the same died the following day after he told people he was going to quit drugs 5 days before.

That's probably the best advice I could give on drugs and too bad I'm from Asia and English isn't my primary language. If you or anyone can explain what bigmike885 was trying to point out, it would be good because I failed to understand what he is trying point out except the Jeff Hardy's drug problem at Victory Road.

What?! If he was high he would have had a perfect match?! Have you ever met anyone who was doped up? If it was pot maybe but he seems like he was a pill popper. Those mess with you.Sent from my iPhone

At this point in his career, and with the current state of WWE, there isn't really a reason for him to return. He said it himself (which is why I keep wondering why you guys are still questioning if he will stay) a few months back that he enjoys being more than just another top guy in TNA and thinks he can make more of a difference than in WWE. He enjoys the lighter schedule and has more time for his child. No reason he would want to go back to WWE as Matt and Jeff apparently haven't been spending their money like other stars, and considering they have been in mainstream wrestling for the past 15 years (not counting their PPA deals they'd had since '96 or '94), they are pretty well off.

I think that if HHH was able to get bruno sammaritino to come back to the wwe for the hof (after bruno has said numerous times he wasn't ever going to come back to wwe) I'm pretty sure he could've maybe had a shot at getting jeff hardy back if the wwe really wanted him. But he might just stay in tna

  6. Nova_numb says:

Dixie just announced on Bellator that Jeff was staying and bunch of other dates for Impact on the Road, in case anyone missed it.

  7. incognitowolfe says:

Jeff stayed loyal to tna, good for him.
