**SPOILERS** – TNA iMPACT! Results For Next Week

Source: Wrestling News World

TNA iMPACT! (Airing Next Thursday):

* In a Knockout’s Title Match, Tara w/Jesse defeated Velvet Sky via Tara pinning Velvet and Jesse holding Velvet’s feet down so she couldn’t kick out. Velvet at one point hit her finisher and had the match won if not for a distraction from Jesse.

* Joseph Park came out for a promo. He said how hd has learned that his place is not behind a desk but as an active member of the Impact roster. He said he is looking for that win, or “W” as the boys call it and mentioned that next week in the UK was Open Fight Night and mentioned how he is excited to have his televised debut as a trained wrestler. He mentions how next week he promises to get that W. He doesn’t know who he will call out yet but he is going to study tapes/take notes and keep “Kay fab” about it before saying that next week the UK, the US, and the whole world will see what he can do.

* Zema Ion & Kenny King defeated Christian York & Rob Van Dam. I can’t remember who took the fall but King worked him over and Ion made a blind tag and stole the fall. The two got into words about it after.

* Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan came out and looked for Taz who was not at the announce table with Mike Tenay and Todd Keneley. They then went to the ring and Ray said he expected a move like this from Devon but not Taz. He mentioned how the thing that made Ray the most angry was how this hurt everyone around him from Sting to Hulk to Brooke. He threatened to take out each member of Aces & Eights one by one but said he cannot do that while he is suspended. He said he knows Hulk Hogan is not in the building but he knows he is watching at home and implored Hogan to lift the suspension. Sting’s music hit and he defended Ray and told Hulk to “let his new son-in-law” get back into things and said how we will get the answer next week in the UK.

* Bobby Roode beat Hernandez via bulldog. As the match progressed and Hernandez was going for his trademark dive to the outside, Austin Aries came out and moved Roode out of the way. Chavo Guerrero and Aries got into a brawl and the ref was distracted allowing Roode to hit a bulldog and win. After, Aries was trying to tell Ray “we did it” but Roode was saying it was all him. Aries celebrated anyway.

* Kurt Angle came out and said that Aces & Eights are in it for the long haul and he wants payback. He mentions Open Fight Night is next week and calls out Mr. Anderson for it as well as calling him to the ring to say something to him personally. Anderson came out (notably to his own music despite wearing in A&8’s cut). Anderson mocked Angle for a bit before saying he wanted to do things right now. He attacked Angle but Angle made a comeback and nearly out him in an Ankle Lock but Anderson bailed. Angle then said that next week the two will face in a Steel Cage Match.

* For the TNA World Title, Jeff Hardy retained over Christopher Daniels w/Kazarian. Very good match. Kazarian attempted to get involved before Hardy shoved Daniels into him, hit the Twist of Fate and a Swanton for the defense.

* After, Taz came down from the announce table and chastised Hardy a bit. Couldn’t quite hear him due to people around me but I am pretty certain he was mentioning how Hardy may have a target on his back and an Aces & Eights member came in the ring and hit Hardy in the back of a leg with a hammer, requiring Hardy to need help to the back from referees.

NOTE: I never saw when Taz show up at the booth, but he wasn’t there when they did the Ray promo at least or prior to that.

TNA Xplosion:

* Mickie James defeated Brooke Tessmacher with a roll-up.

* James Storm defeated Kazarian via Last Call after Kazarian attempted to dodge a charge from Storm in the corner.

* Samoa Joe defeated Zema Ion via Muscle Buster.

    Fuck TNA.

  2. soyfenomenal says:

Honestly. Holy shit. Hardy fucking sucks as champion and it pisses me off that they wouldn't give the title to Daniels. Now we won't even see the fucking world champion until March. SEEMS LEGIT.

  3. DJBIGCG says:

I honestly think the only reason tna is keeping belts on rvd and hardy is so they don't go back to wwe when there contracts are up

  4. Treck says:

Wha wha wha internet wrestling fans bitching and moaning because Daniels did not win. Look I wanted him to win but TNA would be stupid to have their most popular wrestler lose the title as they are giving him the spotlight so he could stay. I wish Daniels was champion but I am not running a wrestling company. You have to convince the guy who sells the most merchandise by a longshot that he has the ball to run with.

  6. El Generico Fantastico says:

Im honestly getting to the point where i just dont want to watch wrestling anymore tna wants to keep the titles on no job rob and snore fest hardy an wwe keeps having cena bury ziggler an all the same old sht truth be told im already tired of aces and eights and the fuckng shield…its just not real to me anymore dam it

  7. Steven kelly says:

We dnt need those 2 jabronies let em go kenny king n york n ion could have a great x division feud and hardy pftt daniels would be great n he could feud with storm and maybe even kaz bt i like the roode aries tag team

  8. HolsG says:

Does this mean that abyss/joseph/chris is going to be on the UK tour for the first time?!
Wanted to see him for a while, hoping Ray makes it too

  9. aos1982 says:

so the world champ wont need to defend his title for a whole month, nice work if you can get it

  10. AussieWrestling says:

F*** why couldnt they have Daniels win it at least just to hold through February with Hardy not being able to travel overseas.

  11. AussieWrestling says:

Isn't there a rule if the champion cant defend his title in 30 days he is stripped of the title?

Please be a tournament to crown a new world heavyweight championship at the UK tv tapings.

    • Bigmike885 says:

really? know there are no real rules in wrestling right?..they use "rules" when they need them for storylines…hardy sells merch..they want him to he has the belt until at least he resigns..

      • AussieWrestling says:

I know there isnt any real rules in wrestling. But storyline wise Tna needs something big to happen in the UK, a WHC tournament would be just the thing to make the month of tapings exciting.

    • DarkNexxus says:

If there was, ODB and EY would have been stripped long ago.

  12. jbcissom says:

Everyone needs to pull the corn cob out of their @$$3$. I understand for the UK fans the disappointment in not being able to see the WHC, but get over yourselves if you think TNA is going to put the belt on Daniels.

I'm not saying Daniels doesn't deserve a chance, but at the end of the day, wrestling is a business. Daniels is not going to make TNA money as world champ, at least nowhere near as much as Hardy will.

There is a reason why ROH doesn't have a set network, with a set timeslot. When it boils down to it, ROH is a glorified indy league. ROH and WWE fans say the same thing about TNA, but they've been on a major cable network for 5+ years now, with a set timeslot, and they are the network's best show when it comes to viewership and ratings.

Like I said, unless you have tickets to the shows on the UK/European tour, chill out. Otherwise, go join the couple of thousand fanboys that watch ROH religiously.

This is a sport, that is a business, set in the entertainment industry. Rules don't apply. Although I do love the tourney idea, and would love to see that and think the UK fans deserve that, I doubt TNA heads that direction.

    • Dante_Cross says:

So you're saying that because I'm not going to the UK shows, I can't be disappointed that Daniels didn't walk away champion, that even though I am a long time fan of TNA, because they are going to the UK for a month, that I should not be as invested in what happened as them?

I am not so disappointed that Daniels lost, but that it was JUST a loss. I very much expected him to lose, but I was hoping they would prolong this and turn it into a storyline by having Daniels pull some dirty trick that took Hardy out for a month or did something to add Daniels to the long term title chase.

      • Laker says:

True, Daniels has been in TNA for a long time and he gained lots of fans throughout his time in the Indies and in TNA.

      • jbcissom says:

I do agree with you about the handling of the loss. Not all wrestling fans are internet marks, so not everyone knows about Hardy's legal issues. Because of that reason, I am surprised that they didn't do some on camera angle, unless they're taping an A&8 attakck on Hardy and will air it while overseas. Remember, apparently Taz calls him out (sorta). But it still could have been a huge way to push Daniels and Kaz even further because remember, AJ is taking some down time as well (which is much deserved by the way).

And just to clarify, my op was not necessarily directed at you. But there are several people, especially those claiming to be fans, need to realize that TNA is not only headed in the right direction, but they're headed in the right direction with Hogan and Bischoff in leading roles behind the scenes and Hardy as the champ. I'm man enough to admit that, and I'm not a fan of any of the three.

  13. Laker says:

Why couldn’t Daniels hold the title for a month.

    • jbcissom says:

Because Daniels isn't even in TNA's top 5 merchandise sellers:
Hardy, Hogan, Sting, Angle, and then a toss up between Storm and Styles.

      • Dante_Cross says:

Wrestling isnt about merchandise. They dont make nearly enough from it to warrant discussion on the factoring of merchandise into being world champion

        • jbcissom says:

Wrestling is a business. If you can't make money off of your champ, he/she will not be champ for long. That's common business sense. Why do you think WWE has pushed John Cena for so long? Little kids love him. They beg mommy and daddy to buy his shirts and caps for them.

So my response to your comment, wrestling is not about merchandise. But it plays a huge role in who your champ is.

  14. JohnSmithWhoof says:

You know if they push daniels right he could be a merchandise seller. Who wouln't want to buy Joke books from him. Maybe even do promos of hs merchandise on TNA.
