**SPOILERS** TNA iMPACT! Results For Next Week

Partial Source: Pwinsider

Thanks to Adam Rigby for sending in the following:

* Suicide defeated Chris Sabin and Kenny King to win the X-Division Title after putting his feet on the ropes to steal the pin. Hulk Hogan came out and demanded to know who was under the mask because they found the real Suicide had been jumped in the back. How did they know, since they are both wearing masks? Anyway, this one escaped before we found out who he was.

* In the Gutcheck match, Adam O’Reilly defeated Brian Howl. I think those were their names.

* Sting and Kurt Angle said we would find out who the newest member of the Main Event Mafia was tonight.

* In a BFG series match, Magnus defeated Bobby Roode. Good match.

* TNA Tag champs James Storm and Gunner were interrupted by Robbie E and Jesse Godderz. The Tag champs laid them out.

* TNA Knockouts champ Mickie James defeated Velvet Sky. They did a deal where Sky was overcome with emotion because she didn’t win.

* In a BFG match, Samoa Joe defeated Mr. Anderson. Aces & Eights came out but were held back by Angle and Sting, so Joe is the third guy in the MEM.

* During a promo segment with TNA champ Hulk Hogan and Bully Ray, it was revealed that the fake Suicide was Austin Aries, who now holds the X-Division championship and said he would cash it in at Destination X and win the TNA title from Ray. Nice twist – none of my friends saw that coming.

Here is a second report from Heath Pittmanof of WO:

* Suicide defeated Chris Sabin and Kenny King for the X- Division Title

* Magnus beat Robert Roode clean

* Mickie James defeated Velvet Sky. Then Christy Hemme interviewed Velvet Sky asked her what she thought and she cried. I couldn’t make out what she said and no one seemed to care.

* Samoa Joe defeated Ken Anderson after Aces & 8’s tried to get involved. MEM came for the save and allowed Samoa Joe to get the win. Then Samoa Joe joined the MEM.

* Hogan came out and called Suicide out and demanded him to take his mask off he wouldn’t. Then Bully Ray came out and demanded him to take it off if he was going to cash the belt in for a championship match. Then Suicide took the mic and decided to talk his darkness jiberish and then finally took the mask off to revel he was Austin Aries. Saying he would beat Bully Ray again.

So I guess Austin Aries is the X Division champ and we have a challenger for the title.

wonder who else is in MEM

  2. Robert says:

Austin Aries should leave tna and jump ship to wwe his talent his wasted in tna and deserves better he would have more success in wwe and efforts more appreciated

    • jbcissom says:

Really… do you even realize how many times WWE has had the chance to sign AA and didn't? I've become a big fan of AA, but he can't be AA in WWE, remember, they're PG.

    • soyfenomenal says:

      What a troll.

    • rumpl4skin says:

r u stupid lol do you really think a small fast agile guy like Aries will get pushed in WWE let alone after leaving TNA, lol he'll be another run of the mill midcarder in WWE and be even mroe wasted there lol how does TNA waste Aries talent lol, hes a former x division champion for mer tag team championa nd aformer tna world champion doesnt sound like wasted talent to me lol

  3. Showtime says:

Austin Aries!!! Imagine if he wins then AJ wins the BFG series….match of the year!!

  4. Ultimate_X says:

although thats an absolutly brilliant x division swerve, what happened to the 'genuine sabin push' and how hogans speech at slammiversary was the begining of sabin going to the top?? its brilliant creative work, but its really harsh on sabin! although id never be the one to oppose a sabin/aries fued!

    • jbcissom says:

I think they realized that Sabin wasn't the draw they were hoping he would be. Is he a good wrestler/talent, yes. Good draw, no.

      • Bigmike885 says:

I like understand that fact that this is a cant just give the title to anyone..

        • jbcissom says:

That's one reason why I'm dumbfounded as to why they took the belt off of Roode in the first place (when AA beat him). The company grew with Roode as champ (it wasn't astronomical, but it was growth), and it was fresh because it wasn't Angle, Sting, or Hardy as champ.

Don't get me wrong, I became a fan of AA after he won the belt (became an even bigger fan when he dropped the belt and teamed with Roode… I like the "out there, in your face" AA a lot). But the company really didn't grow under him, but I understand now what direction they were heading in (with Bully now the champ).

And people complain when Sting and Angle get the main event… the reason is, because they draw. Now I'll say this, TNA f'ed up by not promoting the AJ-Joe match at all. That match could have gotten some old TNA fans back on the couch, because that was a good match all things considered.

      • Ultimate_X says:

i agree with you there on the draw point, its just sad that this marks the end of the 'comeback momentum' for both him and suicide………but i agree, i think sabins likeable but the fact is outside of detroit, he wont get an amazing pop, at least without alex shelly at his side! phenomenal wrestler though

        • jbcissom says:

This is actually AJ's Achilles heel as well. Kurt Angle is the wrestling machine, but AJ is probably the best in-ring performer there is right now. I know a lot of people dog AJ because he doesn't want to play a heel, but everyone needs to realize, there are those (characters) who are natural faces and heels. Sting i.e. … natural face. Always failed at being heel. After he became SCSA, samething with Steve Williams. Remember when WWE tried to play him as a heel with the invasion angle? Didn't work… same thing with the Rock. And look at Ric Flair and HH. Both make really great heels, and people love them for it.

But I like the new direction with AJ. He's not a heel. He's more of an anti-hero.

  5. AussieWrestling says:

What happens with Aries and the BFG series if he gets a title shot at destination X?

  6. Bigmike885 says:

I love Joe, and I know he technically was a "main eventer", but its becoming obvious that this version of MEM wont be as "prestigious" as the 1st one..

    • jbcissom says:

Well, that's because of who was in it, although many people didn't like several people in the group. You had to respect that experience as a collective group. I am shocked that Joe is in the group. I figured they would have went after people who weren't in the BFG series. I'm expecting Matt Morgan and/or Crimson down the road. But back to Joe, hopefully this is used to propel him into the title picture. The last BFG series match will probably be Magnus v. AJ v. Hardy v. Roode/Anderson.

      • Bigmike885 says:

That's what I'm saying. Joe is great but tho version of mem is going to seem watered down. The last version was all legit main eventers and all legends in two own right (some bigger than others) this version (with te exception of sting and angle) is going to seem very underwhelmingSent from my iPhone

  7. ViceyThaShizzle says:

Wasn't Joe an affiliate of the original MEM? (It's about the time I started watching TNA.)

  8. RavenNevermore says:

Yes Joe was with the original MEM. Tax mentioned he was a part of MEM because he managed Joe at that time

  9. soyfenomenal says:

Joe came into the Mafia when it went to shit.

  10. Stunner says:

HH does an about face an they take the title from Sabin? This has got to be the start of an angle in the X-Division if so, I’m liking it. I think each division needs it’s own angle, the KOs, TV title , X-Division and KOs Tag belts .The only problem is the KOs don’t have enought KOs to have Tag Belts which means TNA needs to call up at least 4 more KOs to strengthen it’s division. Also the TV title needs to be defened on TV which sounds easy however TNA makes it hard.

  11. XcluZive says:

This is very disappoiting. I have been a TNA since day one, but this is why TNA is not coming anywhere close to the WWE. Why would Sting say "none of the TNA wrestlers came out to help him" at Slammiversary and then pic some of the same guys who was back stage that didnt help him? This makes no sense at all! Then just to have Crimson to leave for a year then have him comeback just to lose his 1st match back doesnt make sense as well. Crimson would of been a great member in MEM if they would of made his debut back with TNA with MEM. If Sting would of made a new MEM TNA need new stars. They could of put Angle and brought Jarret back which would make sense being he is the founder of TNA and bring 2 or 3 new faces into the company. How will this scare Aces and 8's to beat them? These are the same guys who they already beat down. I may catch heat for this, but this is just plain common sense.

    • Dante_Cross says:

You ring true on some of your points.Especially bringing back Jarrett, Crimson's loss destroying his momentum and the interest if he happened to join the MEM, and that as of now, the MEM is simply guys Aces and 8s have already destroyed..repeatedly

  12. RavenNevermore says:

Tna is not coming close to wwe because the majority of fans are morons.
