fan of Austin but really, Joseph Park would team up with those two fat guys Tons of Funk

    • jbcissom says:

That's why I don't want to see any wrestler from TNA or ROH go to WWE. WWE has killed Tensai… it's pitiful.

      • RatherBeAtNitro says:

The killed him by naming him Tensai, if they had just brought him back as Albert and pushed him as a monster he could have gotten over very quickly.

  2. tnadude says:

    Honestly – I miss Abyss… I wish they'd use both characters.

    • OldManEaston says:

Abyss doesn't really work in a non-Hardcore environment and TNA has very little to none of it now. He also slowed way down from the days when he was younger and much slimmer. If you take way his ability to do the garbage stuff, and he just looks like a fat guy in a mask, you are basically left with cornball like what you got with the ridiculous Hulk Hogan ring, or the Dr Stevie stuff. Joseph Park is a decent midcard gimmick. It is cornball, but it is better than nutless Abyss.

      • jbcissom says:

Are you freaking crazy?! Abyss works in a non-Hardcore environment. How else do you think TNA went from the weekly PPVs to FSN to Spike…. AJ Styles and Abyss put TNA on the map before Sting and Christian came along. Them and the X-div wrestlers.

Abyss needs to be pushed as a monster, and honestly, that is where TNA creative is severely lacking.

        • OldManEaston says:

Did you miss all the gimmick matches that happened over the course of that time frame you are talking about? Do you think all those matches were coincidence, or just because somebody decided it would be fun if Abyss went through thumbtacks? They happened because that is what Abyss had to offer TNA. Those kind of matches are what Chris Parks is good at. I agree with you that he and AJ put TNA on the map, but are you forgetting what kind of match it was that was their defining moment together? It wasn't a iron man match, or a submission match, or anything else but a cage match where they beat the hell out of each other and AJ sunset flipped bombed Abyss into thumbtacks.

Chris Parks is too old, too fat , moves to slow and is not menacing enough and the character of Abyss is too damaged for him to be seen as any kind of monster in TNA without the ability to use his hardcore spots. If you are watching every week, you know this kind of wrestling has been almost non existent in TNA for a while now.

  3. Undedlok says:

Abyss without a trashcan of weapons is weak. Everytime Abyss came back he had put on 20 lbs, he did slow down and have shorter matches (blown up). Same thing happened to Foley. Parks is a VERY weak character. Abyss would be better – if he dropped 50 lbs or so and became the monster again (against Raven or Hardy, days).

  4. Sturk says:

I hate how Austin only see's things in a WWE light…..

    • Luis says:

The Rattlesnake likes 300 pounds of cheeseburger wrestling in a wind breaker lol…Now Samoa Joe Can Move and WRESTLE and I am a fan of Joe…Abyss is way a better gimmick than a lawyer

  5. whatsup121 says:

It’s good to see that a name like Stone Cold

Steve Austin watches TNA I wonder what

He thought about the Knockout match ?

  6. whatsup121 says:

You have to give Abyss/Joseph Park

Credit it must be hard for a wrestler

With Abyss’s experience to play the

    Roll of a green wrestler

  7. hangers says:

I hope he goes to wwe as park, then comes back to tna as abyss..

    • jbcissom says:

Like Rick Rude back in the hey-day?!… That was epic. I remember watching Nitro, and then during a commercial, I would flip it to RAW and was like, wtf… Raw is in Vegas and Nitro is in FL…. how the hell does he do that.

  8. TNA_fan says:

I wished Stone Cold was the TNA GM rather then Hogan, he (Hogan) can be the anonymous Aces and 8's leader, and Austin could be the TNA GM.
