The Attendance For Last Week’s Live TNA iMPACT!

Last week’s TNA iMPACT! taping drew around 3,700 fans. The show had TNA’s weakest advance ticket sales for a live iMPACT! thus far, and a lot of comp tickets were given out.

Matt Morgan denies that the show was papered, posting the following on Twitter…

“Gotta love FALSE Internet reports on our ticket sales for TV. Corpus like ALL other TV thus far, have not been “papered”. Thnx2ourGREATfans!”

who knows this story could be true it could not be who knows

Someone explained the phrase " papered" to me?
    Never heard it

  3. Cam says:

It does make sense tho… Why would every other event draw 4, 5,000 and be sell outs but this one was only 3,000 and and all the tix were sold? Most of the show was papered and for anyone who doesn’t know what that means… They have away free tickets

  4. KGill28 says:

Sites that claim TNA papers their events are so full of bs. They provide no source or factual information to support this claim.
News Flash Dirt Sheets: You can't just make a claim and expect people to believe it. If you want to be taken serious, please provide a credible source.

Indeed. If so many people are constantly "papered" then why do we never hear from them? The only people that know the truth is TNA, ticket office and to a lesser degree the fans that attended. Until one of these says "we gave away free tickets", "TNA gave away free tickets" or "I got free tickets", I will continue not to believe these completely unsourced rumours.

If tna was able to get 3700 paying people that is good

  6. Treck says:

I have been a wrestling fan for years. The dirtsheets seem to love giving crap to the second biggest companies in the world. Hmm wonder why? Money speaks in many ways.

  7. itachi950 says:

    something is really misleading here.

WrestlingC.com claimed that TNA sold about 3000 tickets. Pwtorch said they sold less…

WrestlingC, Pwtorch (which all of a sudden claimed they sold 6700 for Lockdown, and 8000 fans for London), and PWInsider have lost HUGE CREDIBILITY AS WRESTLING REPORTERS. AS somebody who watch the news daily it seems to me they are like the biased BBC.

  8. hangers says:

It's going to come down to cost vs income at the end of the day, if they're not losing money going out on the road then that's the better option but there are more benefits financially if they stay put in the one location, just not the old Impact Zone..
