This Week’s TNA iMPACT! Rating Drops – Details

Thursday night’s episode of TNA iMPACT! Wrestling drew a 0.86 (0.9) cable rating, with 997,000 viewers. Those numbers are down 15% and 21% from a 0.99 (1.0) and 1.21 million the week before.

The numbers are the lowest since Thanksgiving night and likely slipped due to very tough competition from the NCAA basketball tournament.

Honestly, I watched the first 30 or 40 minutes of impact, then I dozed off in my bed, and fell asleep the rest of the show. I guess this weeks episode wasn't that interesting

  3. Mr_Wrestling_IV says:

I was watching more of the tournament, sorry TNA.

  4. RealCreative says:

Nothing really seems to change…its not TNA its not WWE its the wrestling market has dropped off and not the same it was back in the prime of WCW, ECW & WWE (F)….thats the facts

You have a very strong point !!!!

Once a fan notice that wrestling storylines are not real they stop watching or are tired of the same formula these companies bringing to the table I used to like wcw nitro vs wwe raw it was cutting edge no be storylines real characters but a little entertainment stars too…now its all athletic and weird storylines but improving. If TNA would just make more gimmick matches of their own they can succeed in having big events for the stars to shine

I agree real creative. I miss the old days when your wrestling name was bubba ray Dudley, and went to a different company. You were still bubba ray Dudley. Not forced to have to change your name to bully ray. Or Bryan danielson, now Daniel Bryan. I also loved it, if you were with wcw or wwf/e; and showed up in ECW. Joey styles would say, there goes wwf's brakkus. Or wcw's Chris Benoit or what have you. But when wwf and wcw had Monday night wars (or ted turner and Eric bischoff against Vince McMahon, and Vince winning ) vkm frankly BOUGHT wrestling……. All of that ended

tna will not be the same without sting aj styles bad influence angle even hogan notice the ahow didnt had those guus. once they lose angle n if bad influence leaves. then tna is screwd

I agree, but they are trying. TNA brought back Lashley which is a step in the right direction. I am not a fan of the youth movement even though I know it has to happen but one thing Dixie is trying to do with this youth movement if you can see it is she is trying to eliminate that little man complex that TNA has had from day one. The guys she is pushing are the guys with muscular bodies. Think about it Magnus, Gunner, The Bro-mans, EC3, Bobby Roode and Bobby Lashley. Ey, Spud and Sam Samuel Shaw are the only little guys left.

  6. ViceyThaShizzle says:

Yeah, Tigre Uno and Manik are so muscular. 😀 Also I wouldn't say Bobby Lashley is a step in the right direction… in fact i'd say the opposite, hopefully he has grown some charisma and presence since his last run and i'm proven wrong, but I just remember him as a generic musclehead.

    • Beezy_Does_It says:

"Yeah, Tigre Uno and Manik are so muscular" I didn't even mention Tigre Uno or Manik(who they still haven't even brought back) in my post so I don't know why you even said that. As far as Lashley goes I could see why you would say that because when he was in the WWE he wasn't that charismatic, but as far as legit heavyweights that are out there that are not already in WWE and in TNA's budget Lashley will do.

I dont understand why tna havent given bobby any real story for coming back. They could've done the 'new signing by MVP' deal or 'don't disrespect kurt angle' deal. i dont get it.

Also tna is marketing towards a more female demographic with the emotional background of knux, the creepy samual shaw (which i love tbh), the sabin bad boyfriend gimmick, ken andersons baby twins etc etc. take it from me, a women will take a look at the product from a glance, see abyss and say whats this bs? switch the channel. Unless they sign john cena stick with the mainly male audience.

I do not like abyss' new look, try again.

  8. NARDDAWG says:

well the hardcore fans are there, people giving tna shit for ratings wwe dropped from 6's and now between 3 's and 2 's, wrestling as a whole needs another boom
