This Week’s TNA iMPACT! Rating Rises – Details

UPDATE: Thursday night’s TNA iMPACT! did a 0.85 (0.9) household rating, up 2% from last week’s 0.83.

ORIGINAL: Thursday night’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling scored a viewership of 1.09 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are up 7% and even with last week’s 1.02 million and 0.3. The viewership number is still a strong drop from the 1.41 million two weeks ago however, and the usual demo rating is generally a tenth higher.

The show was up against round one of the NBA playoffs this week, which explains the weaker rating this week around. It didn’t have that problem last week.

This was a good episode of impact. I liked lashley making his suprises return in a match, but I didn't see the last half hor of impact, because I dozed off

I wasn't happy about MVP getting a win over Austin Aries!

It was a good match with GREAT crowd reaction for both. I would have liked to seen A Double get the win and started a feud of some sort with MVP! That win by MVP kinda made A Double look weak, which in my mind didn’t feel right for some reason.

Well the man has lifted Bully and Joe for the brainbuster, he certainly isn't weak. He's also a better wrestler than MVP could ever dream of being. Perhaps that's the reason?

Another taped show, audience looked thin. Next weeks show should show us more after Sacrifice.

Abyss cutting an un-Monster like promo. He's great at talking but TNA don't know what to do with a legit monster in wrestling. After that skipped to Arie predictably losing to MVP, the man of the month in what was a sh!t match. Then skipped to Beer Money match, Storm is way better with Roode than without. Watched the girls fight and that did me. I hope Jarrett picks up Aries, Buly, Joe and Anderson. They deserve much better than this show. I am sure he would use them alot better than this lot.
