TNA Addresses Pay Issue For Double Tapings

Partial Source:

When TNA announced that they were taking iMPACT! on the road and doing double tapings, it was stated that the promotion would pay talent per date, and not per episode they appeared (unless other specified in their contract). This meant that a talent could work the live episode and then the taped episode, and only get paid once.

According to sources, TNA is now paying per episode, which has made the talent much happier. The talent was informed of the change at the Corpus Christi tapings back in April.

Glad to hear that the talents are getting paid per show. These people work their asses off to put on a show for all of us.

That should ease any if any backstage tensions or those who are not happy about the pay rate. Good on TNA

  2. HolsG says:

The majority of the talent are fantastic and they were getting ripped off because Dixie sucks with finances and put TNA into debt

  3. annil8or4321 says:

maybe this means they are making more money as a company

    • OldManEaston says:

Not necessarily. It doesn't necessarily mean that they are making more money now or that they were in such a poor financial shape to begin with and were forced to make the pay cuts. We can't know either of those without inside knowledge. Sometimes, greed is just greed. The only thing for sure that it means, is that TNA decided to reverse a chickensh*t, Bush-league policy that undoubtedly p*ssed off a lot of their talent and rightfully so. No one wants to do work that they should be getting compensation for, but aren't. As myself and many others have said before. PAY YOUR TALENT TNA! You can't pretend to be a legit promotion if you don't.

So you are having a crack at Dixie because the company she owns is running at a lose?
Have you wondered where the money comes from to allow TNA to continue running at a lose?
I believe it would be coming from Dixie you moron. or at least from Panda Energy via Dixie.
that's even if the company is running at a lose… i believe it is a private company and therefore they do not need to make there financial public.

If they fire Hulk Hogan, Brooke Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Jason Hervey, Bruce Prichard and Todd Kennely then it would save a lot of money or TNA could hire young talent that will help in the future like Chuck Taylor.

    • DiamondChampion says:

Just cant go firing ppl. Todd Kennely is a huge upgrade to the announce team. He has been a suprise to me.
