Jay Bradley & Brian Cage would be tremendous additions to TNA. Especially if TNA could get Shaun Ricker along with Cage. Natural Selection vs. Bad Influence could main event a PPV with the talent involved.

  2. dcxboxx says:

please dont sign jay bradley. hes too awesome for tna. let him do more extreme rising shows, the guy can be something . he will just end up released from his tna contract within a year anyways.

    • ariesstormjoe says:

if tna think he's worth it then he'll do fine.

jay bradley has been thought for a while to be a part of aces and 8s this isnt really news. but them teasing they could appear could mean we see them unmasked soon.

    • Bigmike885 says:

so wheres he going to go? WWE would probobly treat him just as bad as TNA would..Should he stay on the indy circit and make no money?…

  3. Treck says:

Dcboxx you think you are psychic? And why he pass up gnawing? More money!

  4. dcxboxx says:

no but tna really wouldnt be more money so much. these guys wont get big deals and only make money if they get booked on tva and ppv often. lots of guys were and are only making 500+ a week tna isnt big time for anyone unless you are angle sting hogan fbishoff rvd and a few others. for example jay lehtal is making more right now than he was in tna. i honestly think the gut check is stupid . they havea decent roster right now sure they could get rid of a few guys and toss some ohters on . but god they have guys they havent even used in forever as it. its becoming wcw like roster use wise. (im a fan of tna btw)

i agree. If they wanna make a big splash, they should bring back Jay Lethal and push his ass to the moon. Jay Lethal imo is the "one that got away" to TNA. He shouldve been world champion during his last run. That Ric Flair skit he did was priceless haha

    • ariesstormjoe says:

thing is the talent they do have some are injured/returning from injury. some they should use more (rosita, sarita are still contracted, then theres the pope who i think is close to a return as hes recovered or hes fully fit).

but what gutcheck does is allow them to look for new talent and they can hire (i doubt they put them on tv without thinking about it tho). it needs tweaking a little bit and they wont be hiring every talent. but they will hire many as they look to expand their roster. its a good concept cos it shows how tna hires talent and its their future all they've done is put it on tv since they did do it for house shows.

      • Philly_Cheese says:

From what I've seen all the wrestlers on gut check were put through a dark match before ever going on gut check. The reason for a dark match is to scout how well they can perform, and how the crowd reacts to them without ever airing it on TV.

    • Philly_Cheese says:

In comparison to the indy circuit 500$ a week is A LOT of money… You obviously know absolutely nothing about the indy circuit or else you'd know that most Indy wrestlers make diddly. I know of several who have talent comparable to those in TNA/WWE/ROH and only make at most 50$ a show per week. Most Indy wrestlers get enough to pay for the gas to make the trip there and maybe a couple meals for the week… Not even close to enough to actually live off of.

Who doesn't love Brian Cage? Too bad he won't be cracking his racist jokes anymore though :/

  6. Stunner says:

TNA needs X-Division types where is Sonjay with that flying stomp move! That was crazy,I hope that move didn’t get him fired. It was a great move yet it didn’t have a name for it! Sonjay and bring back EY in the tV title hunt

    • Philly_Cheese says:

That stomp move has been around for a very long time, it's been done by better wrestlers in the past, namely Low Ki. Although it is a very dangerous move and very difficult to learn without risking injury to you or your opponent.

  7. UCEAD11 says:

Patiences people. The X division you recall, is supposed to be featured soon. Thats why they are shoring up new members through gut check. Then you have the second show to be brought up. TNA by years end may have two shows running. I would imagine one is going to be X division only. with a main event involved. Hence, why Van Damm is recieving so much attention lately. I personally think one of the young bucks need to be the face of the X division. But Van Damm is a big name.

  8. hangers says:

With Aces & 8's and the current roster, is there much room to fit any new talent in? I suppose they can go to developmental if they're any good, still not a great fan of gutcheck, would prefer it in a different show..

    • Philly_Cheese says:

Most wrestlers in gut check end up going to OVW as future talents, this makes sure TNA isn't ever in short supply of talent that's prepared to be on TV. Gut check wrestlers have already been on TV and are recognized by the TNA audience easily.

      • hangers says:

The thing for me is, this is wrestling, it's pre-determined, theres no way a nobody is going to come on and win a match unless creative has big plans for that individual, you pretty much know the outcome before it even starts, coupled with the poor acting from judges..

I think it's a waste of a segment on impact, I'd rather see a second show which has a form of gutcheck together with some lower card matches and some snippets from impact..

  9. TwIsTeD_EnEmY says:

Why no Gut Check last OFN?
