TNA Gutcheck Format Changes Starting This Week

TNA is bringing Gutcheck back on tomorrow’s edition of iMPACT! Wrestling, but they are changing the format. Starting with this version of the segment, the company will have two unsigned talents facing off against each other. Then, Bruce Prichard, Al Snow and Taz will judge both wrestlers.

I think thats a very good idea.
The crowd might not get into it very much though

They should let them cut a little promo before the match just build the match abit make you think this could interesting also got to offer petey Williams a contract I bet if people knew he was coming back and nailing the Canadian destroyer ratings would improve that lad is a star

I really love this idea this will make the unsigned talent look good and not look like untrained Rookies.

That's a pretty solid idea, though I think they could take it a little further. They could have a TNA Gutcheck Challenge Tournament. Eack month, 2 unsigned talents face off on Impact. The following week, Snow, Taz, and Pritchard give their final thoughts on both performers, and then, based on the votes of the fans as well as the votes of the 3 judges, a winner is determined and advances to the next round. The eventual winner of the tournament would recieve a TNA contract and a title shot (TV or X Division or KO title for the female performers) at a TNA PPV. They could spread it out over a 6 month period and run 2 "tournaments" a year, or have a year long tournament with the winner being announced and recieving their title shot at B4G.

And that would also solve the current problem where they just keep signing people. Good idea. I like it!

Well most of the talent they've signed has been moved off to OVW to basically prepare them for TV. OVW is more so paying these new wrestlers rather than TNA. Unfortunately OVW isn't going to pay a whole lot, but it's pretty much helping their future rather than wondering around the indy circuit.

But i thought wrestling is fake though? if those to guys are working together in a match? but…..i mean…..LIKE HOW? They know what to do during the match

  6. HolsG says:

Getting rid of Bruce will make it better.
Wonder if bootcamp is gonna get gut checked in the UK

  7. Tiffanydude says:

Sorry for this completely off topic comment but Speaking of new talent ,WWE signed El Generico……I feel so sorry for him…

  8. brooksideraider says:

Just think of the match we could see if it's Brian Cage vs. Shawn Ricker or Jay Bradley. All 3 of these guys should be in TNA right now.
