From James Robinson and PWInsider:
I attended last night’s TNA house show. Per usual, it’s a better product than we usually get on TNA. One thing I know that has been written but really needs to be shouted off the rooftops is how family friendly for kids and interactive the show is. They do a great job of making it more of a convention/live event than you really understand until you are there. This was my first show for TNA and we were really pleasantly surprised.
Show Results
-Samoa Joe & Magnus defeated The Motor City Machineguns when Joe choked out Chris Sabin.
-Velvet Sky defeated Angelina Love. Earl Hebner was the referee and they did lots of silly spots.
-Garett Bischoff defeated Robbie E. Bischoff sold for most of the match and finally made a comeback. He was more bearable here than he is on TV when he’s being pushed hard. In an undercard match, doing a danceoff and working as the sympathetic hero, he was fine.
-Rob Van Dam pinned Mr. Anderson with the Five Star Frog splash. Since he’s returned, something is really off with Anderson’s work.
-Kurt Angle defeated TNA Tag champion Daniels with an anklelock. Good match.
-Jeff Hardy pinned Bully Ray with the Twist of Fate. Bully Ray was just awesome tearing down the crowd. Great heel. Hardy looked good. Overall a really fun show!
