— The quadriceps tear that Bully Ray suffered in the UK is 100% legitimate. TNA had announced the injury on their website leading many to believe it was part of a storyline.

— The Valentines Day edition of TNA iMPACT! Wrestling scored a 1.01 (1.0) cable rating, with 1.30 million viewers. Those numbers are down 2% and 8%, respectively, from the 1.03 and 1.41 million viewers the week before.

The show slipped slightly in the key male demos including the lowest male 18 – 49 rating of the year.

So tna gets 1.17 then 1.16 then 1.03 now 1.01. Looks like tna ratings have been going down and being overseas isn't helping. Tna should really come out with a bang when they start going on the road so the rating can be high like 1.5 on a regular and even higher then that

    • TwIsTeD_EnEmY says:

They are going on the road?
And the ratings which they are achieving now are from taped episodes that WERE from going on the road (London)

On the road in the USA. Tna was taped before hogan and bischoff came and back then they were pulling 1.3s now they aren't. Why is that?

TNA also had their highest ever ratings after H&B came in, people love to forget about that
          .
Part of the reason is the changes, another part is this bizarre hate Hogan manages to draw, people act like he punched their mothers or something, I've read many comments from people that refused to watch after Hogan came in, quality has nothing to do with it for them, just blind hate for a guy they don't know.

TNA was (arguably) at it's best several years back, the numbers were far lower than they are now, why is that?

Lets be honest, it was valentines day. Those not married may not get this, but it is a matter of health, safety, and sanity to record and watch later when married (or engaged even, maybe not so much when simply dating, been too long for me to remember,,,,,) so in other words, I think this is a legitimate case of that number not being quite on the mark when looking at the target demographic (guys, especially in my age range, who are quite likely/possibly married)

Even with Bully’s injury I think he is working Brooke and Hulk. He has been acting odd of late. The ring thing could be because he is partying and stuff. So if it makes sense or not I think he could be involved in aces and eights or if not Brooke is and he knows while she does not know he knows. Or maybe they both are involved. One of them at least has to be involved with aces and eights. The likes of DOC etc are sacrificial lambs protecting the hidden bigger names. I wonder if the Abyss played by the guy team 3D trained is involved as well? Hmm

Just wanted to say first off, andy hit the nail on the head. V-day is probably the worst day for a show like Impact! to air. Dudes will be out trying to please their wives, girlfriends, or dates. Shaft did say, "It's my duty to please that booty."

Secondly…. Aries and Roode are pure flipping gold. I just wish that Russo hadn't pushed the GenMe gimmick on the "little boys" and TNA saved it for this duo. Aries reminds me a lot of a young Shawn Michaels while Roode has that Freddy Glassy/Ric Flair feel to him. Dixie, make these guys lifers for TNA!
