Update: Mick Foley Misses Kurt Angle In WWE

UPDATE: Mick Foley posted to his Facebook page today professing that he missed seeing Kurt Angle on Raw. Check out the post below:

WHO ELSE MISSES KURT ANGLE?

No one does a better job of putting together video packages than WWE – and they did it twice on this past Monday’s RAW. The Daniel Bryan piece was just tremendous, and accomplished exactly what it was supposed to; reinforcing the bond Daniel shares with the WWE Universe, and making many of us (including me) clamor for a Bryan victory at “Hell in a Cell”. The Cena career retrospective was excellent also, but may have created an unintended response. For if you guys and gals are like me (not talking about the love handles and the missing ear, but about being a huge wrestling fan) your first response was “wow, I miss Kurt Angle!”

He was on the video for less than 20 seconds, but that was all it took to remind every long-time fan of what a huge part of WWE Kurt was. I know he’s had an amazing career since leaving WWE, but if my own departure from WWE proved one thing, it’s that a good percentage of the WWE Universe only wants to see their WWE Superstars inside WWE. That’s not a knock on TNA. But while many enjoy Kurt on a regular basis on Thursdays, I just know a Kurt Angle return to WWE – whether it’s a one-time match, an extended run, or a very worthy induction into the WWE Hall of Fame – will be huge! I miss Kurt Angle in WWE…and, based and so do you.

ORIGINAL: Immediately following WWE’s video package on RAW highlighting John Cena’s standout career, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley remarked on Twitter, “Who else just realized how much they miss @RealKurtAngle in @WWE?”

What is with Mick Foley and his drunken love fest for Kurt Angle and WWE? Kurt is TNA now. He came to TNA in 2006 and has been a steady veteran for over 7 years now. Whether Mick Foley likes or not, Kurt IS TNA, Sting IS TNA, AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, James Storm, and Samoa Joe ARE TNA.

So instead, why don’t he take his butt over to YouTube and watch some past WWE matches with Kurt Angle. If he wants to know what Kurt Angle is up to nowadays, he can tune into Spike TV every Thursday and support a company that treats its wrestlers with some respect, instead of like slave products that are nothing more than money-makers.

What say you now Dude Love?

Omg bfg was funny did U see what a mess he was. Its past his time, he's out of date. I think bk in day he was gd but now he just belongs in rehab n needs to dig his ears out of his face. Bfg was wrecked with him so I was very dissapointed with my night, get rid and stay away Kurt ur face makes me physically sick.

WWE has one thing – it is a platform. They can be the biggest turd in terms of personality but will always be able to attract stars back because essentially some performers crave big platforms. WWE is like that rich friend at school or that powerful boss that will always attract people.

However for every Mick Foley who associates success with packed arena's and promos. They're wrestlers like AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe who stay loyal and enjoy the life and freedom TNA offers them (so they can focus on others like family).

As a TNA fan Mick, I can say the same thing:

a good percentage of the TNA "Universe" only wants to see their TNA Superstars inside TNA.

You dont own Kurt, your boss kicked Angle out when Angle need the company the most. Your boss pushed Angle to work through illness and your boss and his media franchise went out of its way to portray Angle as being on death's door when he joined TNA.

He'll come back when he's ready.
