Update: TNA iMPACT! Going On The Road

To follow up on the news announced on Thursday night that TNA would be taking iMPACT! Wrestling on the road starting on 3/14 just outside Chicago, lots of questions about the status of the show being held at the Impact Zone have been asked. The way it was worded by TNA the final two shows at the Impact Zone will be on 2/28 and 3/7.

Going forward it appears the Impact Zone will only house tapings for the “One Night Only” PPV specials scheduled for the rest of 2013. It’s always possible they could return to the Soundstage at Universal Studios if taking the show on the road doesn’t work out, but it would appear that is the plan as of now.

Well we will just have to wait and see what happens with tna going on the road

Dixie said that going on the road is permanent, depends on the numbers showing up obviously.

This might give TNA a chance to become more well known, maybe see if they can get some of the wrestlers on local tv & radio, get some of them to visit schools/colleges and just let people know they'll be putting on a show.

I wouldn't count on anything. They have yet to announce the next location for 3/28. The longer they wait to announce venues the less people who will go. Everyone can't make plans on a few weeks notice. Unless they start to announce dates/locations for the year, they are just waiting to see how the first couple turn out. I just hope if they show up at a town and no one shows up they don't go there again, and if plenty show up, they go there more often. Instead of the going everywhere plan as a form of advertising. Find a few towns to start that are turning out to see the show and just go there. You don't want to just go to new towns on a few weeks notice and people will not show up, and then they will just not buy tickets because they know you will be hostage to give out free tickets by the hundreds.

I am hoping they stay on the road for a long time and are successful. They are an awesome group of people and WWE is fading.
