Was Last Night’s TNA iMPACT A Legit Sellout?

The word going around backstage at last night’s TNA iMPACT! in Jonesboro, Arkansas was that the show was a legit sellout or very close to it.

The company has been very happy with the advance sales for their iMPACT! tapings since hitting the road.

I’m calling B.S. on that. When u got the upper deck tarp off and many fans in attendance saying the arena wasn’t full and staff members giving their numbers of attendance. TNA is just trying to help save themselves from the low ticket sales and say no we sold out when in fact they did not and never will.

They say 3500 people were in attendance, but anyway good show

Everybody tarps off sections… Ive been to raw smackdown and ppvs in houston and guess what the tarp off part of the arenas… One time i went and they had atleast 1000 seats tarped off amd they called that a sellout… So i think its a question of symantics… Alot of companies that use arenas of shows usually tarp off the areas that dont sell ..i.e nose bleeds

There was more than 3500 there. It had to be closer to 5-6000. The upper deck on the camera side was not open, nor was the upper across from the ramp. However, the Convo hardly opens up that section, so don't think much of it. However, keeping track of where tickets were selling, several sections opened up in the last 3-4 days of Impact. So they added several hundred of seats at the last moment for $15-$25 each.

Also, doing some quick math on just the floor…there was nearly 1000 just on the floor seats alone. So there is no way 3500 was correct.

Better than the fucking impact zone so idc lol

Place probably holds 11,000 full with floor seating. It was probably only 70% full since the camera side seating wasn't full. It hardly matters, long as it looks full on TV. Always funny that people are concerned a wrestling promotion might lie about something, when it's not really as good as they say. None of it is real, the wrestlers aren't really MMA Fighting masters as they appear either.. I'm sure they are making money since the merch stand was swamped after the show, and T-Shirts at $25 a pop, that adds up. Also the concerns about wrestlers working twice a ***ht seemed overblown since they seem to have a good diversity from one week to the next and not working everyone twice.
