Why Sid Vicious Doesn’t Watch TNA Wrestling

Ranjit Chahal sent this one along:

Someone recently asked Sid Vicious on Twitter if he watched TNA and the former WWE wrestler reveals why he does not follow them. Sid tweeted:

“No, I don’t watch TNA. To me, they’ve never been contenders. My apologies if I’ve offended any talent who performs in that company.”

Who cares? I respect Sid's opinion and to me no one needs to hear what any legends or big name stars say about TNA, to each his own

  2. Philly_Cheese says:

And yet this guy wanted to work for TNA, and even claimed on his website at one point that he had already signed with them when he didn't.

  3. ariesstormjoe says:

    silly comment imo.

    says "they’ve never been contenders"

    to what?

tna has a fantastic product atm. really good wrestling being shown in the ring, some well thought out storylines. only thing i ask for is for them to try and build on their divisions.

wwe should consider actually building some talents up sometime which in all honesty they havent done in years.

  4. kevinroulette says:

Hes just mad they didnt hire him . he was trying to get a job withh tna few years ago.. He works the indys u know he wish Tna signed him. I never like Sid really

  5. Nova_numb says:

That just shows the mentality of people like Sid. WCW was never a contender again after their run at the top and yet they still gave him a job. TNA wouldn't hire him and he is probably bitter that they didn't. I bet if TNA called and said Sid we want to bring you in…He would immediately change his tune about them. TNA just needs to concern itself with putting out a good product and not being a "Contender"

  6. DigestivBiscuit says:

Ha Ric Flair also said something like that once but guess what… when TNA called he did join and praise… Sid you'll be kissing TNA's too the day you will get the most important phone call of your life…

    • ricky_No1 says:

Yea i believe rik said something along the lines of, TNA is a joke and he would never work for em. This is one of the reasons i never cared for rik flair. Man talks garbage and always did.

  7. incognitowolfe says:

SID is liek stevie richards, idk y these guys are huge pussbags who obviously signed and wanted to be in tna, but then they get cut or the contract doesn't go through and now they say F TNA THEY SUCK INDY PROMOTION!

It's like an ex lover getting over being dumped. geez grown men, start acting like it!

  8. Treck says:

He was always overrated. Only liked him as Lord Humongous and in the skyscrapers. Other than that. He sucked!

  9. hangers says:

I'm not one to jump on everyone who speaks negative of TNA but Sid Vicious was one of the most overrated wrestlers I can think of during the 90's. He's still dilusional if he thinks he can still work a main event match at wrestlemania, as he previously stated, and that anyone would want to watch it…

  10. whatsup121 says:

the last thing Sid Vicious has done is sit on the couch and watch
    big brother

    Justice will be served

  11. powerbomb says:

He is stuck in the 80’s

  12. mfg420 says:

So how does Sid not watching TNA affect TNA in any way how is this news worthy

  13. tnadude says:

At least he was polite about it…

  14. annil8or4321 says:

i guess he just like his wrestling watered down

  15. pepsilover2008 says:

While TNA isn't a competition to wwe world wide yet, TNA for only being 10 years old is doing fantastic for its age.

  16. mfg420 says:

People forget that TNA is only 10yo the numbers they get are good for their age going on the road is only gonna make them better … Wwe needs TNA and TNA needs Wwe give it time and were bound to see a new wrestling war

  17. Real Deal Heel says:

LMAO! Sid was begging his roided out self to work for anyone…even TNA a few years back. My guess is he got his $200/year contract for WWE to use his likeness in some alumni promotion. He'd be damn lucky to get in TNA and get some exposure since he's been off TV for 15 years. Wow. What a sourpuss. He should just play cribbage with Bret Hart and go away. Good laugh tho.

  18. IHNSAIN says:

isnt that like saying i dnt go to indie events they arent contenders isnt that basicly saying if it aint wwe pg13 i aint watching wrestling

tna didnt want him cause he wasnt a contender not even for the likes of shark boy big puss
