I'm not opposed to just taping it on the road and not live, but doing live every week is WAY too expensive and pointless. You need to tape everything you can get out of it. TNA needs to just find some cities that will support the company and go there, don't go to places that won't show up. I'd be worried about Chicago because they have so much wrestling lots of people won't care. Maybe Texas or Atlanta are good choices. And for g-sakes start planning the dates in advance and tell people during the show "we will be back in this city again with Impact on THIS date, so buy your tickets NOW". You have the audience there, you have to give them a call to action to come back, not just let them go with no idea you are ever returning. And another thing, hire every EX-WWE guy you can find, and bring them on Impact and say "That's so-and-so from WWE" and then job them without mercy to your talent every week and send them packing. If you have to just dress some jobbers up as WWE talent and have them be destroyed. You have to do something to insinuate you are better than the competition, even if it's just pretend because otherwise no one will care. You didn't see WCW or ECW ever saying they were second rate, it's a losing formula. Tony Schiavone would just scream everything was the biggest match or show ever, even if it obviously wasn't, it's because that's what people want to hear, they don't want to hear wink/wink we both know we aren't better but you get your money worth. Hire the most arrogant SOB announcers in the world and have them just pump the product and how exciting it is, we don't need this smart cynical announcing, we need some hype men like Don West.
