WWE Employees Enjoying iMPACT Storyline, The List

Partial Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

— There are several people behind-the-scenes in WWE who have been greatly entertained by the comedic exploits of the recently united tandem of Bobby Roode and Austin Aries on iMPACT! Wrestling.

— On Tuesday’s episode of TNA Xplosion on the UK’s Challenge TV, Garett Bischoff beat Jessie Godderz with The Numbskull.

— As noted earlier, Joseph Park appears on this week’s episode of The List with Robbie E and Robbie T. The synopsis reads, “There are some people who are not only “not on the list”, but stand no chance of getting on the list in the first place. Joseph Park fits into this category….. besides… no self respecting bro wears a fannie pack…seriously bro.”

WWE is coming out of the closet….haha….why didnt they say it before that TNA has a better product than they do. TNA is a diamond in rough. WWE is a rough looking diamond. They may have more resources than TNA but they are severely watered down. But I guess thats entertainment over wrestling. Oh wait…TNA is doing both…hmmm.

  2. soyfenomenal says:

Aries and Roode..fuck, they're funny as hell.

  3. tna24 says:

nice to see wwe does look at tna. can we laugh at wwe tag team hell no who a joke of a team and ruin a big monster in kane

  4. hangers says:

Lol, Park is lame.. Totally agree on Roode & Aries, I bet WWE regret not snapping him up. I noticed the whole cluster fcuk which is the A & 8's storyline didnt get a mention, so much potential in it but so poorly booked.

    • UCEAD11 says:

the whole reason WWE didnt get Rude, he is too much like Triple Nose….I mean Triple H. Triple H probably didnt want Rude to overshadow him and take his place because he would have done so.

      • hangers says:

I meant Aries but Im sure WWE would be happy to have either on their roster..

      • THISISASHOOT247 says:

personally, i think WWE needs a new Triple H-esque Heel. Bobby Roode is that guy! When his contract comes to an end with WWE, they need to sign Roode. BUT, Roode needs to get creative freedom put into his contract, so they wont ruin him and he can keep his name. And personally, Austin Aries needs to do the same thing.

  5. tnadude says:

I was hoping Park would somehow make the list. That would have been funny as he11!

  6. jbcissom says:

I've said it before, TNA needs to sign both Roode and Aries to long-term deals.

I wasn't a believer in AA at first, but the man has proved me wrong. I truly believe TNA did the right thing in letting Sabin and Shelley go, but keeping Aries. Just wish they would have kept Lethal.

    • ViceyThaShizzle says:

I don't know if Sabin is officially gone yet.

    • ariesstormjoe says:

i dont think tna let sabin go. hes still injured. he could be gone. but theres no confirmation either way.

i think tna need a 2nd 2 hour show to be able to keep the talents they recently released either by the talents wishes or through tna doing it. or the contract expired.

  7. purpleurkel says:

wwe did the "beat the clock" matches this week. TNA did it 6 months ago. More thievery from Vince.

    • Whatever says:

Wwe has being doing the beat the clock challenge for years dumbass. If tna is doing something like that then they took the idea from wwe. It’s funny this sites mentions wwe employees watching tna or “taking” ideas from tna but they never mention that tna does the same thing with wwe.

    • Cam says:

WWE has done beat the clock way before TNA did it, this is somethin they do every year for the rumble… how is it stealing from TNA if they’ve done this for the past 4years?

    • Bigmike885 says:

WWE did the 1st "beat the clock' back in 2000..before TNA existed..WCW did them in 98…get oer it…

  8. cnote says:

Purpelurkel your dumb WWE has been doing beat the clock longer then tna has been around. They do it every year before Royal Rumble. People on this site are such haters. If you where any type of wrestling fan you would watch any wrestling entertainment company. Ill tell you this much though wrestling isn’t the same as it used to be. Both companies need to get better writers sometimes TNA is good some times its not same goes for WWE. However I will agree AA and Roode are good story line best 2 guys on the mic In TNA right now hands down!

    • purpleurkel says:

Ive admitted that I just came back to wrestling after a 10 year absence. You could have just told me I was wrong. Now you show yourself to be a douchebag for throwing your little bi.tch-fit

  9. Bigmike885 says:

I dont get why this is news..Everyone knows most in WWE watches TNA, just like TNA watches WWE. Vince goes on record as saying he doesnt watch it, which i believe is 100 percent true, the man has no time for his grandkids let alone TNA. But i guess it gets the TNA nut lickers something to get excited about. Listen..I'm a fan of both, i watch Impact weekly, and order every PPV, i watch raw and sometimes smackdown, and usualy order 2 PPVs a year..its all in fun..its not worth getting all gitty over that WWE watches doesnt mean anything..

  10. DJBIGCG says:

Purpleurkel, you're dumb as hell dog. Like people have already said, wwe has BEEN DID BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE BEFORE TNA EVEN EXISTED.. What tna marks need to realize is a lot of this stuff tna has did or does that you say wow that thing they did is new and I bet wwe is going to try and do what we did, wwe has already done that thing you call new. Like for instance, bubba or bully ray power bombing somebody threw a flaming table, he did in wwe before tna. Or jeff hardy doing these swantawns off of cages or jumping off of ladders or whatever, he did first in wwe before he did it in tna. I watch both wwe and tna and like both, but it's a trip how tna marks get so itchy about whatever wwe does

  11. JoeWrestling says:

WWE rips off TNA all the time. CM Punk just admitted the Shield was a ripoff of A&8 when he said the Shield were back in the "clubhouse" on Smackdown. Also, it's obvious the Dr Shelby / Kane got the idea from Dr. Stevie / Abyss. Obviously WWE writers went through the Abyss collection to find ideas for Kane.
